Claims (13)

1. En superabsorberande polymer, känne-t e c k n a d därav, att den omfattar en sampolymer, vilken är bildad av en akrylsyra, en flerfunktionell 5 monomer och en vattenlöslig hydroxylhaltig polymer, vari den flerfunktionella monomeren innehäller minst 2 eteniskt omättade grupper per molekyl och mängden av densamma är ca. 0,005 - 1,0 mol-% beräknad pä molmäng-den akrylsyra och vari firms 0-10 vikt-% vattenlös-10 lig hydroxylhaltig polymer beräknad pä akrylsyrans och den vattenlösliga polymerens vikt, och vari 50 - 100 % av sampolymerens karboxylsyragrupper är neutraliserade med en basisk vattenlösning och sampolymeren är efter-tvärbunden med en flerfunktionell förening, varav 15 finns ca. 0 - 1,8 mol-% beräknad pä molmängden akrylsyra, varvid den superabsorberande polymerens absor-bans under tryck är minst 30 g/g, äterabsorbtionskapa-citeten minst 40 g/g, elasticitetsmodulen minst 9,0 x 104 dyne/cm2 och äterhämtningsförhällandet är minst 85 20 %.
2. Polymer enligt patentkrav l, känne-t e c k n a d därav, att den flerfunktionella monome-rens eteniskt omättade grupper utgörs av allylgrupper.
3. Polymer enligt patentkrav 2, känne-25 tecknad därav, att den flerfunktionella monome- ren utgörs av tetra-allyloxietan.
4. Polymer enligt patentkrav 3 känne-tecknad därav, att det finns ca. 0,01 - 0,3 mol-% tetra-allyloxietan. 3 0

6. Polymer enligt patentkrav 1, känne- t e c k n a d därav, att den vattenlösliga hydroxyl-haltiga polymeren är en polysackarid.
7. Polymer enligt patentkrav 6, känne- 5 tecknad därav, att polysackariden utgörs av na- turstärkelse.
8. Polymer enligt patentkrav 1, kanne- tecknad därav, att polymerens partikelstorlek är sädan, att 95 vikt-% av partiklarna ligger mellan 20 - 10 140 mesh (US-standardsäll) .
9. Polymer enligt patentkrav 1, känne- tecknad därav, att den ef tertvärbindande fler-funktionella foreningen är en polyglysidyleter av en polyol.
10. Polymer enligt patentkrav 9, känne- tecknad därav, att polyglysidyletern är diglysi-dyleter av dietylenglykol,
11. En absorberande produkt, känne -tecknad därav, att den omfattar en porös fiber- 20 matris, vari polymeren enligt patentkrav 1 är disper-gerad.
12. Absorberande produkt enligt patentkrav 11, kännetecknad därav, att den porösa ma-trisen är placerad mellan ett vätskaogenomsläppligt 25 material och ett vätska genomsläppligt material.
13. Absorberande produkt enligt patentkrav 11, kännetecknad därav, att det f inns 5 -100 vikt-% absorberande polymer beräknat pä fibern.
