背景技术
本公开涉及玻璃陶瓷材料。更具体来说,本公开涉及光学透明的玻璃陶瓷材料。甚至更具体来说,本公开涉及具有晶体钨青铜相的光学透明玻璃陶瓷材料。
开发屏蔽近红外(NIR)的玻璃来阻挡和/或消除700-2500nm的波长范围,用于如下应用:滤光器,透镜,以及用于医疗、国防、航天、和消费者应用的玻璃窗。
已经开发了低发射度(低E)涂层以使得可以穿过玻璃的紫外和红外光的量最小化,而不损害传输的可见光的量。低E涂层通常是喷溅或热解涂层。或者,低E塑料层叠体可以改装到玻璃基材上。
已经使用含非化学计量的低氧化钨或掺杂的非化学计量的三氧化钨(本文称作钨青铜)的纳米尺寸颗粒或微米尺寸颗粒的薄膜、涂层、和复合材料,来提供在可见光谱中具有高透明度的近红外屏蔽。但是,钨青铜薄膜通常需要昂贵的真空沉积室,具有有限的机械牢固度,并且易受到氧、水分、和UV光的影响,所有这些都导致这些材料的NIR屏蔽性能降低和变色,并且劣化了可见光范围内的透明度。
发明内容

要注意的是,本文可用术语“基本上”和“约”表示可由任何定量比较、数值、测量或其它表示方法造成的内在不确定性程度。在本文中还使用这些术语表示数量的表示值可以与所述的参比值有一定的偏离程度,但是不会导致审议的主题的基本功能改变。因而,“不含MgO”的玻璃是这样一种玻璃,其中,没有主动将MgO添加或者配料到玻璃中,但是可能以非常少的量(例如,小于400每百万份数(ppm)或小于300ppm)作为污染物存在。
使用本领域已知的那些方法来测量压缩应力和层深度。此类方法包括但不限于,使用诸如Orihara有限公司(日本东京)制造的FSM-6000之类的商用仪器,来测量表面应力(FSM)。表面应力测量依赖于应力光学系数(SOC)的精确测量,其与玻璃的双折射相关。进而根据ASTM标准C770-98(2013)中所述的方案C的改进版本(本文称作改进版本)来测量SOC,题为“Standard Test Method for Measurement of Glass Stress-Optical Coefficient(测量玻璃应力-光学系数的标准测试方法)”,其全文通过引用结合入本文。方案C的改进包括使用玻璃碟作为试样,厚度为5-10mm,以及直径为12.7mm。碟是各向同性和均匀的,且经过钻芯,两面都是经抛光和平行的。改进还包括计算待施加到碟的最大作用力F最大值。作用力应该足以产生至少20MPa的压缩应力。使用如下等式计算F最大值:

除非另有说明,否则术语“层深度”、“DOL”、和“FSM_DOL”指的是采用市售可得仪器(例如,但不限于FSM-6000应力计),通过表面测量(FSM)进行测量所确定的压缩层深度。压缩深度DOC指的是玻璃内的应力有效地为零的深度,可以通过本领域已知的折射近场(RNF)和偏振方法所获得的应力分布确定。对于单离子交换过程,这个DOC通常小于通过FSM仪器测得的FSM_DOL。
对于压缩应力层延伸至玻璃内较深深度的强化玻璃制品,FSM技术可能存在对比度问题,这影响了观察到的DOL值。在较深的压缩层深度处,在TE和TM谱之间可能存在对比度不足,从而使得TE和TM偏振的边界光学模式的谱之间的差异计算以及准确的确定DOL更为困难。此外,FSM软件分析无法确定压缩应力曲线(即,压缩应力随着玻璃内的深度发生变化)。除此之外,FSM技术无法确定玻璃中由于某些元素的离子交换(例如,钠离子交换锂)所产生的层深度。
当DOL是厚度t的小分数r并且折射率曲线的深度分布与简单线性截断曲线相当好地近似时,通过FSM确定的DOL是压缩层的压缩深度(DOC)的较为良好近似。当DOL是厚度的显著分数时,例如,当DOL≥0.1·t,则DOC非常常见地明显低于DOL。例如,在线性截断曲线的理想化情况下,保持DOC=DOL·(1-r)的关系,其中,r=DOL/t。
或者,可以采用本领域已知的散射线性偏光镜(SCALP)技术来确定压缩应力、应力分布、和层深度。SCALP技术实现了表面应力和层深度的非破坏性测量。
从总体上参见附图,并具体参见图1,应理解举例说明是为了描述本公开的具体实施方式的目的,这些举例说明不是用来限制本公开的说明书或所附权利要求书的。为了清楚和简明起见,附图不一定按比例绘制,附图的某些特征和某些视图可能按比例放大显示或以示意图方式显示。
在一些实施方式中,本文描述的光学透明玻璃陶瓷材料包括:玻璃相,其含有至少约90重量%二氧化硅,和晶体钨青铜相。这些玻璃陶瓷包含:硅酸盐玻璃相,和约0.1摩尔%至约10摩尔%、或者约1摩尔%至约4摩尔%、或者约0.5摩尔%至约5摩尔%晶体钨青铜相,其包含晶体MxWO3纳米颗粒。在一个实施方式中,晶体MxWO3纳米颗粒被包围在和分散在残留玻璃相中,以及在一些实施方式中,包围在和分散在整个残留玻璃相中。在另一个实施方式中,MxWO3晶体纳米颗粒布置在位于或者靠近玻璃陶瓷的表面处。在一些实施方式中,MxWO3晶体纳米颗粒是薄片状形状,并且具有(通过本领域已知的那些方式,例如,SEM和/或TEM显微镜、X射线衍射、光散射、离心法等所确定的)如下平均直径:约10nm至1000nm,或者约10nm至约5μm,和/或是MxWO3纳米棒,其具有高纵横比和平均长度(通过本领域已知的那些方式确定为10nm至1000nm)和平均宽度(通过本领域已知的那些方式确定为约2至约75nm)。在一些实施方式中,展现出高可见光透过性和强UV和NIR吸收的钨青铜玻璃陶瓷含有高纵横比(长度/宽度)的MxWO3棒,其具有约10nm至约200nm的平均长度和约2nm至约30nm的平均宽度。晶体钨青铜相具有化学式MxWO3,其中,M是以下至少一种:H、Li、Na、K、Rb、Cs、Ca、Sr、Ba、Zn、Cu、Ag、Sn、Cd、In、Tl、Pb、Bi、Th、La、Pr、Nd、Sm、Eu、Gd、Dy、Ho、Er、Tm、Yb、Lu、和U,以及其中,0<x<1。这些玻璃陶瓷具有低的热膨胀系数(CTE),对于小于约250nm波长的紫外(UV)辐射和约700nm至约2500nm波长的近红外辐射(NIR)具有强的衰减或阻挡。
在一些实施方式中,本文所述的玻璃陶瓷在光谱的可见光区域(即,波长约400nm至约700nm)是光学透明的。也就是说,在约400nm至约700nm范围的光的至少一个50nm宽的波长带上,玻璃陶瓷在1mm路径长度上具有大于约1%的透射率(本文表述为“%/mm”)。在一些实施方式中,在光谱的可见光区域的光的至少一个50nm宽的波长带上,玻璃陶瓷的透射率至少大于约10%/mm,在一些实施方式中,大于约30%/mm,在其他实施方式中,大于约50%/mm(例如,≥75%/mm、≥80%/mm、≥90%/mm)。此外,在没有使用机械上来说易碎且对于UV光和水分敏感的涂层或膜的情况下,这些玻璃陶瓷吸收光谱的紫外(UV)区域(波长小于约370nm)和近红外(NIR)区域(大于约700nm至约1700nm)中的光。在一些实施方式中,对于波长小于或等于约370nm的光(例如,370nm波长),玻璃陶瓷的透射率小于10%/mm,或者甚至小于5%/mm,以及在其他实施方式中,小于2%/mm或者甚至小于1%/mm。在一些实施方式中,对于波长小于或等于约370nm的光,玻璃陶瓷吸收至少90%/mm或者具有至少90%/mm的吸收,在其他实施方式中,在这个波长(例如,370nm波长)至少95%/mm,以及在其他实施方式中,至少98%或者甚至至少99%/mm。在一些实施方式中,对于光谱的NIR区域(即,约700nm至约2500nm)中的光,在至少一个50nm宽的光波长带上,玻璃陶瓷的透射率小于10%/mm,以及在其他实施方式中,小于5%/mm。在一些实施方式中,对于光谱的NIR区域(即,约700nm至约2500nm)中的光,在至少一个50nm宽的光波长带上,玻璃陶瓷吸收至少90%/mm,以及在其他实施方式中,吸收至少95%/mm。
在一些实施方式中,本文所述的玻璃陶瓷能够耐受至少约300℃或者在其他实施方式中,至少约200℃的温度,而不削弱它们的光学或机械性质。在一些实施方式中,当玻璃陶瓷在约200℃至约300℃的温度范围加热至少1小时的时间段时,玻璃陶瓷在约500nm至约2500nm的透射率变化小于10%/mm。在一些实施方式中,这些玻璃陶瓷是非反应性的,和任意其他方式不受到氧、氢、和水分的影响。通过将选定的样品(例如,表1中的样品13、14、15、和16)暴露于312nm和365nm的光持续最高至7天的时间段,证实了玻璃陶瓷的不受影响特性。在此类暴露之后,没有观察到这些样品的光学吸收率的变化,表明氧、水分、和/或氢没有与MxWO3晶相发生反应和使其发生变化。
在一些实施方式中,本文所述的玻璃陶瓷在约0℃至约300℃的温度范围的热膨胀系数(CTE)是约75x 10-7℃-1。在一些实施方式中,玻璃陶瓷在约0℃至约300℃的温度范围的热膨胀系数(cTE)是约33.5x 10-7℃-1至约66.3x10-7℃-1(例如,表1中的样品2、11、12、13、和54)。
在一些实施方式中,本文所述的玻璃陶瓷是可漂白的,即可以通过在高于它们相应的软化点对玻璃/玻璃陶瓷进行短时间的热处理,来“擦除”晶体MxWO3。可以采用本领域已知的那些能源来进行此类热处理,例如但不限于:电阻炉、激光、或者微波等。例如,可以通过将材料保持在约685℃至约740℃的温度持续约5分钟,来对组合物37(表1)进行漂白。然后,通过暴露于UV脉冲激光,MxWO3青铜相可以在材料的表面上重新成形或者重新结晶,即,在暴露于激光的那些区域中,会重新形成钨青铜相。
本文所述的玻璃陶瓷可以用于建筑、车辆、医疗、航天、或者其他应用(包括热面屏蔽、医疗用眼罩、和滤光器等)中的低发射度玻璃窗。在一些实施方式中,玻璃陶瓷形成消费者电子产品(例如,手机或智能手机、手提电脑或者平板等)的一部分。此类消费者电子产品通常包括具有前表面、后表面和侧表面的外罩,并且包括至少部分位于外罩内的电子组件。电子组件至少包括电源、控制器、存储器和显示器。在一些实施方式中,本文所述的玻璃陶瓷包含至少一部分的保护元件,例如但不限于外罩和/或显示器。
在一些实施方式中,玻璃相是硼硅酸盐玻璃,以及玻璃陶瓷包含SiO2、Al2O3、B2O3、WO3和至少一种碱金属氧化物R2O,其中,R2O是以下至少一种:Na2O、K2O、Cs2O和/或Rb2O,以及晶体钨青铜相是钨青铜固溶体,其含有MWO3,包含MWO3,或者基本由MWO3构成,其中,M是Na2O、K2O、Cs2O、和Rb2O中的至少一种。在一些实施方式中,晶体碱性钨青铜相是这样一种晶体碱性钨青铜相,其是碱性钨青铜固溶体M1xM2yWO3的混合物,其中,M1=Li、Na、K、Cs、Rb以及M2=Li、Na、K、Cs、Rb,其中,M1≠M2且0<(x+y)<1。

在一些实施方式中,-10摩尔%≤R2O(摩尔%)–Al2O3(摩尔%)≤0.1摩尔%。对于组合和热处理是如何影响玻璃陶瓷的光学性质,可以将过铝质熔体(peraluminous melt)分成三个子分类。如本文所用,术语“过铝质熔体”指的是这样的熔体,其中,氧化铝的摩尔比例或含量大于R2O的摩尔比例或含量,其中,R2O是以下至少一种,Li2O、Na2O、K2O、和Cs2O;即,Al2O3(摩尔%)>R2O(摩尔%)。第一个子分类是这样一种,其中,当过铝质熔体从熔融状态快速猝冷和在退火之后,在可见光波长范围和NIR区域是透明的(例如,表1中的样品12、15-17、20、23、25、33、35-42、44、46、47、和48)。这些材料需要后续热处理,所述后续热处理位于退火温度或者略高于退火温度,但是低于软化点,从而建立起吸收NIR的纳米晶体MxWO3相。光学性质的变化与热处理的关系如图1所示,这是组合物13的经喷猝冷(splat-quenched)的样品、经退火的样品、和经热处理的样品的吸收率-波长关系图。如本文所用,术语“喷猝冷”指的是这样的过程:将少量熔融玻璃或者熔融玻璃“滴(glob)”倒到处于室温的铁板上,并且立即用(同样处于室温的)铁活塞对滴进行压制,从而使得玻璃快速冷却并将滴压制成玻璃薄碟(3-6mm)。虽然组合物/样品13的经喷猝冷样品(图1中的A)和经退火样品(B)显示在可见光或NIR区域中没有吸收,但是经过热处理的那些样品(C、D、E)在NIR区域中展现出吸收(其随着热处理时间的增加而增加)以及在600-700nm波长范围的一些可见光衰减,导致材料具有蓝色色调。
如果快速猝冷的话,第二类过铝质熔体保持可见光和NIR区域中的透明,但是在退火后展现出NIR吸收(参见表1中的样品12、14、19、21、22、24、和26-32)。如同上文所述的那组过铝质熔体,并且如图2所示(其显示了玻璃陶瓷组合物11的样品的经喷猝冷的样品(A)、经退火的样品(B)、和经热处理的样品(C)的谱图),可以通过进一步热处理来增强经喷猝冷或者经退火的玻璃陶瓷的NIR吸收。
第三类过铝质熔体甚至在快速猝冷之后展现出NIR吸收(参见表1的样品1和7)。可以通过后续热处理进一步增强这些材料的NIR吸收,所述后续热处理处于退火点或者高于退火点,但是低于软化点。
接近电荷平衡的熔体(即,R2O(摩尔%)–Al2O3(摩尔%)=0±0.25摩尔%)可以是:在快速猝冷之后在可见光是透明的和退火之后是NIR吸收的(参见表1的样品8-11和45),或者在快速猝冷或退火之后是NIR吸收的(参见表1的样品2-7)。如同上文所述的熔体,可以通过后续热处理进一步增强NIR吸收,所述后续热处理处于退火点或者高于退火点,但是低于软化点。
两种过碱性(即,R2O(摩尔%)>Al2O3(摩尔%))UV吸收且NIR吸收熔体(表1中的样品46和50)当快速猝冷时对于可见光和NIR是透明的,但是在退火之后是NIR吸收的。如同上文所述的熔体,可以通过后续热处理进一步增强NIR吸收,所述后续热处理处于退火点或者高于退火点,但是低于软化点。
晶体MxWO3相的形成速率(这决定了光学吸收率)还可以通过调节以下至少一种来进行调整:热处理时间和温度,(R2O(摩尔%)+Al2O3(摩尔%))/WO3(摩尔%)比例,R2O(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)比例,Al2O3(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%);和要配料的碱性(或碱性物质)的选择。在所有情况下,对于更长的热处理时间,更多的晶体MxWO3相沉淀,得到具有更强NIR吸收的材料。但是,热处理过度可能引起晶体MxWO3相变粗糙。在一些情况下,可能由于形成第二或三元晶相(例如,硼斯特来盐(borastalite)或硼酸铝)完成变粗糙。这些第二相的形成可产生对可见光波长进行散射的材料,从而看上去是雾化或者乳白色的。此外,在大多数情况下,随着热处理温度的增加和接近玻璃的软化点,MxWO3形成的速率增加。
在一些实施方式中,1≤(R2O(摩尔%)+Al2O3(摩尔%))/WO3(摩尔%)≤6。随着比例(R2O(摩尔%)+Al2O3(摩尔%))/WO3(摩尔%)增加,MxWO3形成的速率降低。当(R2O(摩尔%)+Al2O3(摩尔%))/WO3(摩尔%)≥6时,停止从熔体沉淀吸收NIR的晶体MxWO3相。
在晶体MxWO3 NIR吸收相发生沉淀的那些玻璃中,R2O(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)的比例大于或等于0且小于或等于约4(0≤R2O(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)≤4),以及Al2O3(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)的比例是约0.66至约6(0.66≤Al2O3(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)≤6)。当R2O(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)大于4时(R2O(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)>4),玻璃可能沉淀致密的不可混溶第二相并分离,导致不均匀熔体。当Al2O3(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)比例超过6时(Al2O3(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)>6),玻璃停止沉淀晶体MxWO3 NIR吸收相。当Al2O3(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)比例等于6时(Al2O3(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)=6)(例如,表1中的样品34),虽然形成了吸收NIR的纳米晶体MxWO3青铜,但是形成是非常缓慢的。优选地,R2O(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)比例是约0至约3.5(0≤R2O/WO3≤3.5)(例如,表1中的样品26)。最优选地,R2O/WO3是约1.25至约3.5(1.25≤R2O(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)≤3.5)(例如,表1中的样品53),因为这种组成范围的样品快速沉淀得到吸收UV和NIR的MxWO3晶相,展现出高的可见光透明度和强的NIR吸收,并且是可漂白的(即,可以“擦除”MxWO3晶相)。在某些实施方式中,Al2O3(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)的比例是约0.66至约4.5(0.66≤Al2O3(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)≤4.5)(例如,表1中的样品40),以及最优选地,Al2O3(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%)是约2至约3(1≤Al2O3(摩尔%)/WO3(摩尔%≤3)(例如,表1中的样品61)。高于这个范围,形成吸收NIR纳米晶体MxWO3青铜是缓慢的。
不同的碱金属氧化物导致晶体MxWO3相以不同速率沉淀。对于具有相同配料组成但是不同碱金属氧化物R2O(其中,R=Li、Na、K、或Cs)的熔体,当M(或R)是Cs时,MxWO3沉淀速率最慢,以及当M(或R)是Li时,最快,即,Cs<K<Na<Li(例如,表1的样品14、15、16、和13)。取决于存在的碱金属,在玻璃陶瓷中形成晶体MxWO3相的温度也发生偏移。图3显示对于样品14、15、16、和13,测得的差示扫描量热法(DSC)冷却曲线,其组成在表1中列出。从图3和下表A看出,含铯熔体在最高温度结晶,之后是含钾熔体、含钠熔体、和含锂熔体。

可以通过组成、热处理时间和温度、以及碱金属氧化物的选择,来调节玻璃陶瓷的NIR吸收边缘和可见光范围的峰值或最大透射波长。图4显示含不同碱性钨青铜和任意其他方面相同组成的玻璃陶瓷(表1中的样品14、15、16、和13)的谱图。钾和铯类似物(分别是样品16和13),所具有的峰值可见光透射波长(440-450nm)短于钠和锂类似物(分别是样品15和14)(它们分别具有460nm和510nm的峰值可见光透射波长)。
在一些实施方式中(例如,表1中的实施例37、44、46、和50),本文所述的玻璃陶瓷具有较低的硼浓度,即约9.8摩尔%至约11.4摩尔%B2O3(9.8摩尔%≤B2O3≤11.4摩尔%)。在这些样品中,在窄且低的温度上,发生NIR吸收晶体MxWO3相的沉淀,如表B所示。可以将这些组合物加热到高于它们各自的软化点,并且下垂、陷落或成形,而不发生晶体MxWO3相的生长。这通过首先形成和/或成形玻璃制品,然后后续在低温对材料进行热处理以沉淀NIR吸收晶体MxWO3第二相,实现了对这些玻璃陶瓷的光学性能进行控制和调节。此外,通过玻璃在高于它们相应的软化点加热短时间,具有上述组成的玻璃陶瓷中的晶体MxWO3第二相可以被“擦除”(以及玻璃陶瓷“被漂白”)。例如,可以通过将材料保持在约685℃至约740℃的温度持续约5分钟,来对组合物44(表1)进行漂白。

表C列出了表1所列的选定样品组合物所测得的物理性质,包括:应变点、退火点、和软化点,热膨胀系数(CTE),密度,折射率,泊松比,剪切模量,杨氏模量,液相线(最大结晶)温度,和应力光学系数(SOC)。此外,对于表1所列的选定样品,获得了经喷猝冷玻璃陶瓷组合物和经热处理玻璃陶瓷组合物的X射线粉末衍射(XRD)曲线。图5和6分别是经喷猝冷材料和经热处理材料的代表性XRD曲线,它们都具有表1的组成14。这些XRD曲线证实刚猝冷的材料(图5)是无定形的,并且在热处理之前不含有晶体MxWO3相,以及经热处理的玻璃材料含有晶体MxWO3第二相。

在玻璃陶瓷包含氧化铝(Al2O3)和至少一种碱金属的那些实施方式中,玻璃陶瓷可以是可离子交换的。离子交换通常用于对玻璃进行化学强化。在一个具体例子中,此类阳离子源(例如,熔盐或“离子交换”浴)中的碱性阳离子与玻璃内的较小碱性阳离子发生交换,从而实现从表面延伸到玻璃相中的层深度(DOL)或压缩深度DOC的处于压缩应力(CS)的层,其中,CS是玻璃的最大值。例如,来自阳离子源的钾离子通常与玻璃相内的钠离子发生交换。
在一些实施方式中,玻璃陶瓷经过离子交换并具有压缩层,所述压缩层从至少一个表面延伸到玻璃陶瓷内至少约10um的深度(表示为DOC和/或DOL)。压缩层的压缩应力CS在表面处是至少约100MPa且小于约1500MPa。
在非限制性例子中,组合物51和54经过离子交换。样品首先在550℃热处理15小时,然后以1℃/分钟冷却到475℃,并当关闭电源时,以炉冷却速率(炉速率)进一步冷却到室温。然后,经陶瓷化的样品在390℃的KNO3熔盐浴中离子交换3小时,对于玻璃陶瓷组合物51和54,分别得到360MPa和380MPa的表面压缩应力以及31和34微米的层深度。
在一个实施方式中,可以采用熔体猝冷工艺制造本文所述的玻璃陶瓷。可以通过湍流混合或球磨混合和掺混适当比例的组分。然后,将配料材料在约1550℃至约1650℃的温度范围熔化,持续约6至约12小时的时间,在这之后,可以对其进行浇铸或成形,然后退火。取决于材料的组成,处于退火点或者略高于退火点但是低于软化点的额外热处理建立起了晶体MxWO3第二相,并提供UV吸收和NIR吸收性质。通过表1中的样品12-16、37、46、50-53和61的组成,获得了最优的UV吸收和NIR吸收性质。表D中列出了对于示例性组合物,用于建立晶体MxWO3第二相的热处理时间和温度范围。

在其他实施方式中,通过渗透纳米多孔玻璃(例如但不限于康宁有限公司(Corning Incorporated)制造的高二氧化硅玻璃)形成了玻璃陶瓷。此类纳米多孔玻璃可以是20至30%多孔,具有4.5-16.5nm平均孔直径,具有窄的孔径分布(玻璃中约96%的孔是距离平均直径+0.6nm)。通过调节玻璃相分离所需的热处理方案和通过改变蚀刻条件,可以使得平均孔直径增加到约16.5nm。图7显示渗透玻璃和形成玻璃陶瓷的方法的流程图。
在方法100的步骤110中,制备或提供含钨的第一溶液、含金属阳离子M的第二溶液、和硼酸的第三溶液,以将这些组分传递到纳米多孔玻璃基材。在一个实施方式中,通过将偏钨酸铵(AMT)溶解在去离子水中得到钨溶液,以产生所需的钨离子浓度。在一些实施方式中,可以使用有机前体(例如,羰基钨或六氯化钨等)将钨传递到纳米多孔玻璃基材的孔中。也可以使用多种水性前体(包括,硝酸盐、硫酸盐、碳酸盐、或者氯化物等)来提供MxWO3青铜中的金属M阳离子。
在一个非限制性例子中,制备或提供0.068M AMT的第一水性溶液和0.272M硝酸铯的第二水性溶液,从而铯阳离子浓度是钨阳离子浓度的1/3。
第三溶液是超饱和的硼酸溶液,在一些实施方式中,其可以通过将硼酸水合物添加到去离子水中,并在搅拌的同时加热混合物至沸腾来制备。
在(图7未示出的)一些实施方式中,在形成玻璃陶瓷之前,可以对纳米多孔玻璃进行清洁。玻璃的样品(例如,1mm片材)可以首先在环境空气中缓慢加热到约550℃以去除水分和有机污染物,之后保持储存在约150℃待用。
首先通过在室温下(约25℃)将玻璃浸入含钨第一溶液中,用钨溶液渗透纳米多孔玻璃(步骤120)。在一个非限制性例子中,将纳米多孔玻璃在第一溶液中浸泡约1小时。然后,从第一溶液取出玻璃样品,在去离子水中浸泡约1分钟,并在环境空气中干燥约24小时至约72小时的时间。
在方法100的下一个步骤中,经过渗透的纳米多孔玻璃样品在流动的氧气中加热,以分解偏钨酸铵钨和形成WO3(步骤130)。玻璃首先以约1℃/分钟的速率加热到约225℃,然后以2.5℃/分钟的速率从约225℃加热到约450℃,之后在450℃保持4小时,然后以约5℃至约7℃每分钟的速率从约450℃冷却到室温。在一些实施方式中,步骤130可以包括:在上文所述的热处理之后,在约80℃对玻璃进行预加热持续最高至约24小时。
在步骤130之后,在室温(约25℃)下,将玻璃浸入第二溶液中(步骤140),从而使M阳离子溶液渗透玻璃。在一些实施方式中,步骤140可以进行如下:在浸入之前,在约80℃对玻璃进行预加热持续最高至约24小时。在一个非限制性例子中,将纳米多孔玻璃在第二溶液中浸泡约1小时。然后,从第二溶液取出玻璃样品,在去离子水中浸泡约1分钟,并在环境空气中干燥约24小时至约72小时的时间。
在步骤140之后,对纳米多孔玻璃样品进行加热,以形成晶体MxWO3钨青铜相(步骤150)。加热步骤150包括:在氮气气氛中,以约1℃/分钟的速率(升温速率)首先将玻璃从约5℃加热到约200℃,之后在3%氢气和97%氮气气氛下,以约3℃/分钟的速率从约200℃加热到约575℃,在575℃保持1小时,然后通过打开进行加热步骤的炉,使得玻璃快速冷却到约300℃。在一些实施方式中,然后样品在环境空气中放置,时间没有规定。
在步骤150之后,将玻璃样品浸入第三溶液中,所述第三溶液是超饱和硼酸溶液(步骤160)。在步骤160过程中,第三溶液维持沸点并且缓缓搅拌。在一些实施方式中,玻璃样品在沸腾溶液中浸泡持续约30分钟。在从第三溶液取出之后,在一些实施方式中,样品用去离子水清洗,并在环境空气中静置持续约24小时。然后,玻璃在氮气气氛中加热,以形成和固结玻璃陶瓷(步骤170)。在步骤170中,玻璃首先以约1℃/分钟的升温速率从室温加热到约225℃,之后以约5℃/分钟的速率从约225℃加热到约800℃。玻璃在800℃保持约1小时,然后以约10℃/分钟的速率从约800℃冷却到室温。
在另一个方面中,提供了掺杂了稀土氧化物(REO)的玻璃,所述玻璃在光谱的NIR区域中具有高吸收率。在一些实施方式中,这些玻璃对玻璃在IR中的高折射率做出贡献。包括Sm2O3、Pr2O3、和Er2O3的稀土氧化物掺杂剂占了玻璃最高至约12摩尔%。
在一些实施方式中,REO掺杂的玻璃是铝硅酸盐玻璃,其包含:Al2O3和SiO2,以及以下至少一种:Sm2O3、Pr2O3、和Er2O3,其中,Sm2O3+Pr2O3+Er2O3≤12摩尔%。在一些实施方式中,玻璃还包含至少一种碱土氧化物和B2O3。在一些实施方式中,玻璃在约1400nm至约1600nm的波长具有小于约30%的透射率。表E中列出了铝硅酸盐玻璃的组合物的非限制性例子。表E中还列出了这些玻璃测得的折射率(RI)。即使是在1650℃,不含碱土改性剂的玻璃A、B和C也太粘性而无法倾倒。含有可观量(>21摩尔%)的碱土改性剂(和B2O3)的玻璃E和F可以容易地在1650℃倾倒。在图8和9中分别绘制了玻璃E对于光谱中的可见光区域和NIR区域这两者的百分比透射率和色散。玻璃E同时展现出红外(IR)区域中的高折射率和1550nm处的高吸收率。图10中绘制了含3-5摩尔%Pr2O3的这些组合物的UV-VIS-IR谱,并且显示这些玻璃在1550nm的高吸收率。

Claims (45)
1.一种玻璃陶瓷,该玻璃陶瓷包含:
硼硅酸盐玻璃相;以及
晶体MxWO3相,其包含纳米颗粒,其中,M是以下至少一种:H、Li、Na、K、Rb、Cs、Ca、Sr、Ba、Zn、Cu、Ag、Sn、Cd、In、Tl、Pb、Bi、La、Pr、Nd、Sm、Eu、Gd、Dy、Ho、Er、Tm、Yb和Lu,以及0<x<1;
其中,晶体MxWO3相的纳米颗粒被包围在和分散在整个硼硅酸盐玻璃相中。
2.如权利要求1所述的玻璃陶瓷,其中:(i)对于波长范围是400nm至700nm的光,在光的至少一个50nm宽的波长带上,所述玻璃陶瓷具有至少1%/mm的透射率;或者(ii)对于波长为370nm或更短的光,所述玻璃陶瓷具有小于1%/mm的透射率。
3.如权利要求1所述的玻璃陶瓷,其中,对于波长范围是700nm至2500nm的光,在光的至少一个50nm宽的波长带上,所述玻璃陶瓷具有小于5%/mm的透射率。
4.如权利要求3所述的玻璃陶瓷,其中,当在200℃至300℃的温度范围加热所述玻璃陶瓷,所述玻璃陶瓷在500nm至2500nm的透射率变化小于10%/mm。
5.如权利要求1所述的玻璃陶瓷,其中,所述玻璃陶瓷是:(i)可离子交换的;或者(ii)经过离子交换的,并且具有从所述玻璃陶瓷的表面延伸到所述玻璃陶瓷内至少10μm深度的压缩层,所述压缩层在表面处具有至少100MPa且小于1500MPa的压缩应力。
6.如权利要求1所述的玻璃陶瓷,其中,所述玻璃陶瓷是:(i)可通过热处理漂白的;和/或(ii)在0℃至300℃的温度范围的热膨胀系数小于或等于75x10-7℃-1。
7.如权利要求1所述的玻璃陶瓷,其中:(i)所述玻璃陶瓷包含0.1摩尔%至5摩尔%晶体MxWO3相;或(ii)M是至少一种碱金属;或(iii)所述玻璃陶瓷包含:56摩尔%至78摩尔%SiO2,8摩尔%至27摩尔%B2O3,0.5摩尔%至14摩尔%Al2O3,大于0摩尔%至10摩尔%的以下至少一种:Na2O、K2O、Cs2O、和Rb2O,1摩尔%至10摩尔%WO3,以及0摩尔%至0.5SnO2。
8.如权利要求1所述的玻璃陶瓷,其中,M是至少一种碱性物质,以及:

10.如权利要求1或9所述的玻璃陶瓷,其中,所述晶体MxWO3相包括以下至少一种:多个薄片形状MxWO3纳米颗粒和多个MxWO3纳米棒。
11.如权利要求10所述的玻璃陶瓷,其中:(i)所述多个薄片形状MxWO3纳米颗粒的平均直径是10nm至5μm;和/或(ii)所述多个MxWO3纳米棒的平均长度是10nm至1000nm,并且平均宽度是2nm至75nm。
12.如权利要求10所述的玻璃陶瓷,其中,所述多个MxWO3纳米棒的平均长度是10nm至200nm,并且平均宽度是2nm至30nm。
13.如权利要求1所述的玻璃陶瓷,其中,所述玻璃陶瓷是热屏蔽、滤光器、建筑元件、汽车组件、或电子显示器外壳的至少一部分。
14.一种铝硅酸盐玻璃,其包含:Al2O3和SiO2,以及以下至少一种:Sm2O3、Pr2O3、和Er2O3,其中,Sm2O3+Pr2O3+Er2O3≤12摩尔%。
