背景技术

具体实施方式
概述
本申请描述能够实现非视距的基于雷达的姿势识别的技术和设备。这些技术和设备能够在姿势不是在智能设备的传感器的视距以内做出时,通过识别这些姿势而实现对智能设备的更大程度的控制。
例如,考虑用户在其住宅内具有多个智能设备的情况。假定为了控制这些设备,他具有多个手持式遥控装置;一个控制器用于一个设备。由于所需的遥控装置的数量,控制这些各种的智能设备是不切实际的。另外,即使用户具有能够控制多个智能设备的一个遥控装置,当他不处于所有这些各种设备的视距以内的任何时候,仍然不能控制所有多个智能设备。并且,即使在用户一次处于多个设备的视距以内的不常见的情况中,用户仍需要携带一遥控装置在身边。
考虑控制智能设备的其它传统方式,例如音频接口和视距摄像机。音频接口通常无法理解用户的意图,并且需要用户中断他或她正在进行的谈话。视距摄像机尽管允许用户在某些情况下不携带遥控装置,但是需要视距,并且无法提供稳定和一致的姿势识别。这些仅是不能提供无缝和凭直觉地控制多个示例性控制器中的三种控制器。

示例性环境

姿势可以与各种智能设备关联,例如除智能设备104之外的设备。为了实现这点,姿势可以映射至预先配置的控制姿势,其与用于与这些设备中的任意设备关联的应用的控制输入相关联。因此,姿势可以被设置以基于姿势本身控制应用和/或设备,而不是首先选择意图控制哪个设备或应用。例如,多种复杂和独特的姿势可以由NLOS系统116识别,由此允许精确的和/或单一姿势的控制,甚至用于多种应用。将这些姿势映射至各种不同的设备和应用允许在明确选择或未明确选择(通常通过姿势)意图控制哪个设备的情况下控制。
智能设备104通过各种非限制性示例设备示出:智能手机104-1、冰箱104-2、微波炉104-3、膝上型电脑104-4、平板电脑104-5和电视104-6,然而,还可以使用其它设备,例如气候控制设备(例如恒温器或天花板风扇)、可穿戴设备、台式电脑、上网本、电子书、相机、车辆系统等。
NLOS系统116还包括收发器218,其配置为将姿势数据传输至远程设备,例如在NLOS系统116未与智能设备104集成的情况下。姿势数据可以设置为可用于接收设备足以通过姿势数据识别姿势的格式。
NLOS系统116可以包括一个或多个系统处理器220和系统介质222(例如一个或多个计算机可读存储介质)。系统介质222包括系统管理器224,其可以执行各种操作,包括基于来自信号处理器216的姿势数据确定姿势,将所确定的姿势映射至预先配置的控制姿势,该控制姿势与用于与远程智能设备关联的应用的控制输入相关联,以及致使收发器218发送控制输入至远程智能设备,从而能够执行对该应用或设备的控制。这仅是可以通过NLOS系统116实现上述控制的方式中的一个。还应注意,当NLOS系统116示出为与智能设备104集成时,其可以替代地是设备的部分,该设备具有很少或不具有计算能力,并且仍然允许姿势数据被识别和/或映射至控制输入。作为下文的方法400和600的一部分而更详细地提供NLOS系统116、系统管理器224和场管理器206的操作。
下文更详细地描述这些和其它能力和配置,以及图1-3的实体动作和交互的方式。这些实体可以进一步分开、组合等。图1的环境100和图2和图3的详细图示示出了多种能够使用所描述的技术的一些可能的环境和设备。
示例性方法
图4和图6示出了方法400和600。方法400实现使用反射雷达场的非视距的基于雷达的姿势识别,并且可以与方法600分开执行或整合为整体执行或作为方法600的部分。方法600实现非视距的基于雷达的姿势识别,其中,对于一个雷达系统不存在直射视距,但是通过另一雷达系统识别姿势,并且随后通过直射或非直射雷达场传递至另一雷达系统。
这些方法以被执行的操作(或动作的)的组示出,但是不必限制为在此所示的操作的组合或顺序。另外,任意一个或多个操作可以重复、组合、重组或链接,以提供大量的额外方法和/或替代方法。在以下讨论的部分中,可以参考图1的环境100,以及在图2、3、5和7中详细示出的实体和示例,对这些的参考仅用于示例。该技术并不限制于由在一个设备上操作的一个实体或多个实体执行。
在402处,确定其中不存在至雷达系统的视距的房间的体积。该技术可以通过各种方式确定这一体积,例如通过追踪运动的实体、相机、返回(例如反射)的雷达传输等。
例如,场管理器206可以通过雷达传输追踪人或动物在房间中的运动。在人或动物的部分的运动期间,如果场管理器206接收不到来自该人和动物的反射,则场管理器206可以基于人或动物投射的路径或人或动物的不再可追踪的部分(例如走到沙发后面的人的腿部)来确定房间内直射视距不可用的体积。
场管理器206还可以或替代地使用相机或其它利用雷达或其它方式的图像传感器。场管理器206使用相机采集图像,以提供从NLOS系统116的视角的房间的图像。场管理器206随后接收或确定(例如通过声呐或雷达反射)房间的尺寸(例如4米宽、7米深、3米高)。通过房间的图像和这些尺寸,可以确定未被成像但是存在的地板、墙壁、天花板区域。通过这一数据,场管理器206可以随后确定其中不存在至NLOS系统116的视距的房间的体积。
另外,场管理器206可以基于这些障碍物确定非视距体积。因此,在提供直射雷达场以接收来自房间中物体的反射时,场管理器206假定障碍物背后的区域可能是在其中做出可能姿势的体积,在任何情况下,很可能是房间的一部分并且不具有视距。作为这一确定的部分,障碍物是除地板、墙壁、房间的天花板之外的物体。某些物体反射雷达,某些是雷达可以穿透的物体。因为这点,由雷达场穿透的物体的部分可以降低所述体积的尺寸。
在404处,一组传输路径足以致使在所述体积的至少一部分内提供反射雷达场,所述体积通过提供从雷达系统到房间中的雷达传输而确定。如上文部分地所述,确定视距不可用的体积可以包括雷达反射,其中,某些传输路径是已知的。然而在许多情况下,所述体积已知,但是导致反射雷达场的传输路径不是已知的。
为了确定这些传输路径,场管理器206可以反复地提供雷达传输,并且接受来自所提供的雷达传输的反射。这些雷达传输中的某些可以穿过所确定的体积,因此不是必需的。然而,其它一些雷达传输穿过所确定的体积中的一个体积,并且随后与该体积关联。在另一情况中,人或动物穿过所确定的体积,并且,雷达传输反复地提供,并且在从人或动物反射时关联至所述体积。在这一操作中,可以使用各种类型和频率的雷达传输,包括窄束传输和反射。
作为示例,考虑图5,其示出图1的房间102,其包括智能设备104、用户106、障碍物108、墙110、地板112、天花板114、NLOS系统116、体积120-1和120-2。两个传输路径被示出,墙壁和物体反射路径502,以及天花板和地板路径504。这些仅示出能够提供反射雷达场122的多个不同的传输路径中的两个(如图1所示,并且在图5中为了清楚而省略)。
墙壁和物体反射路径502包括八个部分,每个部分从物体或墙壁反射或来自于反射。因此,路径502从NLOS系统116行进至墙壁110中的一个、随后又从另一墙壁110反射、随后从沙发108-1的背后反射、返回至另一墙壁110、至沙发108-1、至另一墙壁110、随后从花盆108-2反射,并且随后返回至NLOS系统116。某些传输路径不导致反射返回,因此可以被摒弃,而另一些仅在具有NLOS系统116的视距的体积内通过,因此也可以被摒弃。路径504从NLOS系统116行进至天花板114(示出在圆圈处反射),随后至墙壁110中的一个,从地板112反射(示出在方形处反射),从天花板114反射,并且随后返回至NLOS系统116。这两个路径502、504仅提供了两个示例性传输路径,借此,NLOS系统116和场管理器206可以提供在NLOS系统116的视距不可用的体积中的反射雷达场(例如图1的122)。如上所述,这一反射雷达场使得在所有或某些体积120内做出的姿势被拒绝。
在406处,在房间的一个或多个体积内提供雷达场,该雷达场至少包括反射雷达场。在某些情况下,雷达场还包括本文所述的直射雷达场或透射雷达场。通过如此操作,可以提供可用于识别姿势的雷达场以用于不具有自雷达场系统的直射视距的姿势。
在408处,在房间内的雷达场内做出的姿势交互的反射被接收。这一反射能够采集关于姿势交互的数据,该数据随后被用于确定正在被做出的姿势。这一反射可以在如上所述的反射、直射或透射雷达场内。
在410处,基于与该姿势交互的反射相关联的采集的数据确定姿势。所确定的姿势可以是如上所述的多种姿势中的一个,包括直接映射至设备或应用和控制命令的姿势,例如将电视机静音。
在412处,所确定的姿势被提供至设备或应用,效果为控制该设备或应用。作为该提供的一部分,场管理器206可以确定将该控制发送至哪一设备或应用,例如通过分析至各个设备和应用的姿势映射图。
图6示出方法600,其使得非视距的基于雷达的姿势识别能够有效地控制不具有至用户的视距的智能设备,或与其通信。
在602处,提供雷达场,例如具有一个或多个直射、反射、或透射雷达场的场,如上文所述。这一雷达场可以由雷达系统提供,其具有或不具有至做出姿势的用户的视距。
在604处,来自该雷达场内的交互的反射由雷达系统感测。这一雷达系统被假定为具有视距,或能够对不具有视距进行补偿,效果为接收来自用户的反射。然而,另一智能设备,其可以具有或不具有雷达系统,其不具有至用户的视距,并且不能补偿。因此,这两种设备可以不具有至用户的视距,但是这些设备中的一个能够感测反射,例如通过透射或反射雷达场。
作为示例,考虑图7,其示出房屋的地板702。这一房屋包括四个房间704,包括媒体室704-1、钢琴室704-2、起居室704-3、以及厨房/餐厅704-4。如所示,存在五个雷达系统706,媒体播放器708的雷达系统706-1、恒温器710的雷达系统706-2、电视712的雷达系统706-3、烤箱714的雷达系统706-4、以及微波炉716的雷达系统706-5。图7示出了多种情况,其中,该技术支持姿势识别,而无需至一意图被控制的智能设备的视距,例如当用户708在厨房704-4中时想要控制电视712时。为了实现这点,场管理器206在不与用户718处于同一房间中的雷达系统706中的一个的NLOS系统116处接收来自用户718的反射。
作为一具体示例,假定用户718处于厨房/餐厅704-4中,并且想要通过控制恒温器710降低室内热度,恒温器710位于钢琴室704-2中。为此,用户718做出姿势以降低热度,同时站在厨房/餐厅704-4中,其在操作604处,在烤箱714的雷达系统706-4中操作的NLOS系统116接收姿势。通过在NLOS系统116的天线处接收用户718在雷达场720内的反射而接收姿势。
在606处,基于所接收到的反射识别姿势。这可以在与雷达系统关联的智能设备处执行,在该雷达系统处接收反射,或者用于该反射的姿势数据可以在意图被控制的智能设备处被接收。因此,场管理器206或系统管理器224可以接收反射,并将用于反射的姿势数据传输至另一智能设备,例如至房屋或办公室中的其它所有雷达系统和/或设备。在这一情况中,基于从姿势数据所确定的姿势,智能设备可以确定该控制是否意图用于它们,例如已经接收了在先的姿势,其选择控制这一设备,或接收与该智能设备相关联的姿势。
在608处,姿势被确定与非视距智能设备关联或不关联。通常,场管理器206可以通过将该姿势映射至预先配置的姿势而确定姿势与非视距智能设备关联,以建立与该非视距设备的通信。在某些情况中,这一预先配置的姿势建立与非视距智能设备的通信,效果为使得在智能设备处确定的将来的姿势能够控制该非视距智能设备。在某些情况下,场管理器206可以通过将该姿势映射至一特定姿势而确定该姿势与非视距智能设备关联。这一特定姿势可以具有一组特定姿势,其特定地映射至某一集合的智能设备组中的每一组,例如图7中的地板702上的智能设备。
继续参考图7的示例,假定在烤箱714的雷达系统706-4的NLOS系统116处操作的场管理器206识别由用户718做出的姿势。这一姿势可以随后被确定为指示恒温器710的控制,在其之后,基于指示意图控制恒温器710的在先姿势,另一姿势被识别并随后被确定与恒温器710关联。例如,假定一特定的复杂姿势,其具有上下运动的合拢的手部和展开的拇指,该姿势与恒温器710关联。第二姿势,在此假定为非特定幅度的顺时针和逆时针运动的杯形手姿势,其分别指示调高或调低某物。因为在指示意图控制恒温器710的第一姿势之后这一第二姿势被立即接收,随后通过重复方法600的步骤并随后传递(在操作610处)至恒温器710,效果为调高或调低热度。图6的虚线箭头显示这一重复。
类似地,如果第一姿势与媒体播放器708的控制关联,指示调高或调低的第二姿势将会替代地调高或调低媒体播放器708的音量,所有都不具有意图的智能设备的视距。
在610处,姿势传递至非视距智能设备。因此,姿势可以从一个智能设备传递至另一智能设备,效果为使得该姿势能够控制该非视距智能设备或建立与该非视距智能设备的通信。
前述的讨论描述涉及非视距的基于雷达的姿势识别的方法。这些方法的各方面可以在硬件(例如固定的逻辑电路)、固件、软件、人为操作、或其组合中而实现。这些技术可以在图1-3、5、7、8中示出的实体的一个或多个中实施(计算系统800参考以下的图8描述),其可以被进一步分开、组合等。因此,这些视图示出能够使用所描述的技术的各种可能的系统或设备中的某些。这些视图的实体通常代表软件、固件、硬件、整个设备或网络、或其组合。
示例性计算系统
图8示出示例性计算系统800的各种部件,其可以实现为参考之前图1-7所述的任意类型的客户端、服务器和/或智能设备,以实现非视距基于雷达的姿势识别。在实施例中,计算系统800可以实现为有线和/或无线的可穿戴设备、片上系统(SoC)中的一个或组合,和/或实现为另一类型的设备或其部分。计算系统800还可以与用户(例如个人)和/或操作该设备的实体关联,例如描述逻辑设备的设备,其包括用户、软件、固件和/或设备的组合。
计算系统800包括通信设备802,其允许设备数据804(例如接收的数据、正在被接收的数据、被预定用于广播的数据、数据的数据包等)的有线和/或无线的通信。设备数据804或其它设备内容可包括设备的配置设定、存储在设备上的媒体内容和/或与设备的用户关联的信息。存储在计算系统800上的媒体内容可以包括任意类型的音频、视频和/或图像数据。计算系统800包括一个或多个数据输入806,经由该输入,任意类型的数据、媒体内容、和/或输入可以被接收,例如人类语言、与雷达场的交互、用户可选择的输入(明确的或不明确的)、信息、音乐、电视媒体内容、录制的视频内容、以及从任意内容和/或数据源接收的任意其它类型的音频、视频和/或图形数据。
计算系统800还包括通信接口808,其可以实现为串行和/或并行接口、无线接口、任意类型的网路接口、调制解调器中的任意一个或多个,以及实现为任意其它类型的通信接口。通信接口808提供计算系统800和通信网络之间的连接和/或通信链路,其它电子设备、计算设备和通信设备通过该通信接口与计算系统800通信数据。
计算系统800包括一个或多个处理器810(例如,任何微型处理器、控制器等),其处理各种计算机可执行的指令以控制计算系统800的操作,并且实现用于非视距的基于雷达的姿势识别的技术,或在其中可以实施该技术。替代地或另外地,计算系统800可以通过硬件、固件、或固定逻辑电路中的一个或组合实现,所述固定逻辑电路实现为连接在812处一般性示出的处理和控制电路。尽管未示出,但是计算系统800可以包括系统总线或数据传输系统,其联接设备内的各种部件。系统总线可以包括不同总线结构的任一种或组合,例如存储器总线或存储器控制器、外围总线、通用串行总线、和/或处理器或局域总线,其使用各种总线架构中的任意类型。

计算机可读介质814提供数据存储机制,以存储设备数据804,以及各种设备应用818以及任意其它类型的信息和/或与计算系统800的操作方面相关的数据。例如,操作系统820可以通过计算机可读介质814保持为计算机应用,并且在处理器810上执行。设备应用818可以包括设备管理器,例如任意形式的控制应用、软件应用、信号处理和控制模块、在特定设备本地的代码、用于特定设备的硬件抽象层等。
设备应用818还包括任意的系统部件、引擎、或管理器,以实现非视距的基于雷达的姿势识别。在这一示例中,设备应用818包括场管理器206和系统管理器224。
结论

Claims (20)

1.一种计算机实现的方法,包括:
确定房间的体积,在该体积中不存在至非视距姿势识别系统的视距;以及
通过提供来自非视距姿势识别系统并且到所述房间中的雷达传输而确定一组传输路径,所述传输路径足以在至少一部分所述体积内提供反射雷达场,所述反射雷达场能够通过所述反射雷达场采集姿势交互。
2.根据权利要求1所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,确定所述房间的体积包括:
使用非雷达相机采集图像,以提供来自所述非视距姿势识别系统的视角的所述房间的图像;
接收或确定所述房间的尺寸;
基于所述房间的尺寸和所述房间的图像确定未成像但存在的地板、墙壁、或天花板区域;以及
基于所述未成像但存在的地板、墙壁或天花板区域而确定所述房间的所述体积,在该体积中不存在至所述非视距姿势识别系统的视距。
3.根据权利要求1所述的计算机实现方法,其中,确定所述房间的所述体积基于通过雷达传输追踪人或动物在所述房间中的运动,并且,在所述运动的一部分期间,没有接受来自该人或动物或一部分该人或动物的反射。
4.根据权利要求1所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,确定所述房间的体积包括:
提供雷达场,效果为接收来自房间中的物体的反射;以及
确定不存在至所述非视距姿势识别系统的视距的所述房间的所述体积为相对于所述非视距姿势识别系统在所述物体的背后。
5.根据权利要求1所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,确定所述一组传输路径重复地提供雷达传输,并且关联来自重复提供的雷达传输的反射。
6.根据权利要求1所述的计算机实现的方法,还包括:
提供在所述体积内的反射雷达场;
接收在所述体积内做出的姿势交互的反射;以及
基于所述姿势交互的反射确定在所述区域内做出的姿势。
7.一种计算机实现的方法,包括:
通过非视距姿势识别系统在房间内提供雷达场,所述雷达场包括直射雷达场和反射雷达场,所述反射雷达场提供在所述房间中的一个或多个体积中,对于所述一个或多个体积,来自所述非视距姿势识别系统的直射视距不可获得;
接收在所述房间内在所述雷达场内做出的姿势交互的反射,所述反射能够采集关于所述姿势交互的数据;
基于与该姿势交互的反射相关联的采集数据确定姿势;以及
提供该姿势至设备或应用,效果为控制该设备或应用。
8.根据权利要求7所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,所述姿势交互的反射在其中一个所述反射雷达场内做出。
9.根据权利要求7所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,在所述房间内提供所述雷达场进一步在所述房间的一个或多个体积的部分内提供透射雷达场,其中,自所述非视距姿势识别系统的直射视距不可获得。
10.权利要求9所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,所述姿势交互的反射在其中所述透射雷达场内做出。
11.一种计算机实现的方法,包括:
提供雷达场;
感测在所述雷达场内的交互的反射;
在关联于所述雷达场的智能设备处、并且基于来自在所述雷达场内的交互的反射而识别姿势;
确定所述姿势与非视距智能设备关联;以及
将所述姿势从智能设备传递至所述非视距智能设备,效果为使得所述姿势能够控制所述非视距智能设备或建立与所述非视距智能设备的通信。
12.根据权利要求11所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,提供所述雷达场提供了直射雷达场和反射雷达场,所述反射雷达场设置在所述房间的一个或多个体积中,对于所述一个或多个体积,来自所述非视距姿势识别系统的直射视距不可获得,所述交互在所述反射雷达场内,并且感测所述反射是来自在所述反射雷达场内的交互。
13.权利要求12所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,感测来自所述反射雷达场内的所述交互的所述反射在所述非视距姿势识别系统的天线处被接收,并且从所述房间的表面反射。

18.根据权利要求11所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,确定所述姿势与非视距智能设备关联将所述姿势映射至预先配置的关联于所述非视距智能设备的通信建立姿势。
19.根据权利要求11所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,所述姿势建立与非视距智能设备的通信,效果为能够通过将来的姿势进行控制,该将来的姿势在智能设备处确定并且通过所述智能设备的所述非视距姿势识别系统感测。
20.根据权利要求11所述的计算机实现的方法,其中,确定姿势关联于非视距智能设备将所述姿势映射至特定于一组智能设备中的每一个智能设备的一组特定姿势中的一个特定姿势。
