Abstract

Description

对医疗器材施涂抗微生物涂料的系统和方法
发明背景
本发明涉及在各种医学应用中使用抗微生物涂料的系统和方法。现代医疗的主要挑战之一是控制感染和微生物的传播。
不断呈现该挑战的一个领域是在各种类型的输注疗法中。输注疗法是最常见的保健程序之一。就医、家庭护理及其它患者经插入患者血管系统的血管接入器械接受流体、药物和血液制品。输注疗法可用来治疗感染、提供麻醉或镇痛、提供营养支持、治疗癌性生长、保持血压和心脏节律或用于许多其它临床重要用途。
输注疗法通过血管接入器械而变得更加方便。血管接入器械可接入患者的外周或中心脉管系统。另外,血管接入器械可短期(例如数天)、中等时间(例如数周)或长期(例如数月到数年)存在。血管接入器械也可用于连续输注疗法或间歇疗法。
常见的血管接入器械为插入患者静脉中的塑料导管。通常,这种导管的长度可从用于外周接入的几厘米到用于中心接入的许多厘米变化。导管可以经皮插入或者可以通过手术植入患者皮肤下面。导管或与其连接的任何其它血管接入器械可具有单一管腔或用于同时输注许多流体的多个管腔。
血管接入器械通常包括可连接其它医疗器械的接头(例如Luer接头)。例如,给药设备可一端连接到血管接入器械,而另一端连接静脉注射物(IV)袋。所述给药设备可为用于连续输注流体和药物的流体管路。通常,IV接入器械为连接到另一血管接入器械、闭合所述血管接入器械并允许间歇输注或注射流体和药物的血管接入器械。IV接入器械可包括外壳和用于闭合系统的隔片。所述隔片可用医疗器械的钝套管或阳式Luer打开。
在血管接入器械的隔片不能恰当地操作或具有不适当的结构特点时,可能产生某些并发症。与输注疗法相关的并发症可能引起严重病状甚至死亡。一种严重的并发症为导管相关的血流感染(CRBSI)。美国医院中每年发生估计250,000-400,000例中心静脉导管(CVC)相关的血流感染(BSIs)。
当前的血管接入器械通过提供在血管接入器械通过其它医疗器械连接和/或接入期间恰当地起作用的隔片来预防诸如引起CRBSIs的感染的并发症。恰当地起作用的隔片在通过其它医疗器械连接和/或接入期间部分地充当血管接入器械的内部环境与外部环境之间的感染障壁。通过恰当地起感染障壁的作用,隔片使CRBSIs及其它并发症最少化。
在一些情况下,血管接入器械可充当引起播散性BSI的感染病灶。这可因未能定期吹扫器械、非无菌插入技术或在导管插入之后经流体流动路径末端进入路径的病原体引起。在血管接入器械被污染时,病原体粘附到血管接入器械、定植并形成生物膜。许多这样的生物膜抵抗多种杀虫剂并提供进入患者血流的病原体的补充来源且引起BSI。
在过去的几十年间,常规实践使用热塑性聚氨酯溶液作为抗微生物涂料的载体。溶剂通常为四氢呋喃(THF)、二甲基甲酰胺(DMF)或二者的共混物。因为THF可被非常迅速地氧化且趋于严重爆炸,所以在将THF用作溶剂时,需要昂贵的防爆涂覆设施。诸如THF和DMF的苛刻溶剂还具有高毒性和环境危险性。另外,苛刻的溶剂趋于攻击用以生产医疗器械(例如血管接入器械)的大部分聚合材料(即聚氨酯、硅氧烷、聚异戊二烯、丁基橡胶聚碳酸酯、聚氯乙烯、PET和丙烯酸系材料)。因此,用这些材料制成的医疗器械会变形和/或在其表面上形成微小裂纹。关于包含苛刻溶剂的涂料的另一问题在于所述涂料通常需要相对长的时间(例如约24小时)以使溶剂完全热蒸发。关于包含苛刻溶剂的涂料的又一问题在于所述溶剂难以横跨医疗器械的表面均匀施涂。因此,使用苛刻溶剂的常规技术具有关于加工和性能的顽固问题。
提供具有抗微生物特性的医疗器械的另一常规方法包括使用银盐和元素银。银盐和元素银是医疗外科工业和一般工业二者中众所周知的抗微生物剂。它们通常通过等离子体、热蒸发、电镀或通过常规的溶剂涂覆技术结合到聚合物本体材料中或涂覆到医疗器械的表面上。然而,这些技术经常非常冗长、昂贵、耗时且环境上危险。
另外,银涂覆医疗器械的性能最好也只不过是中等。例如,在从银盐或银元素离子化的银离子能够实现作为抗微生物剂的某些功效之前,可能要耗费8小时。因此,在银涂料生效之前可能出现了相当大的微生物活性。此外,银化合物或银元素具有从暗琥珀色到黑色的令人不快的颜色。
因此,本领域中需要改进的涂料以便对各种类型的医疗器械、特别是与输注疗法有关的器械提供抗微生物能力。还需要用于对医疗器械施涂所述抗微生物涂料的改进方法。
发明概述
响应本领域中通过用于对医疗器械施涂抗微生物涂料的现用系统和方法还没有完全解决的问题和要求而公开了本发明。因此,开发了所公开的方法、系统和组合物以通过提供用改进的抗微生物涂料涂覆医疗器械的改进方法和系统来减少了复杂情况(例如,CRBSIs的发生、由苛刻溶剂引起的对医疗器械的损害、由苛刻溶剂引起的环境损害等)。
通常,本发明包括用抗微生物涂料涂覆医疗器械。所述方法可用于涂覆用多种材料制造的医疗器械。然而,在一些优选的实施方案中,所述方法用于涂覆包含一种或多种聚合物基材的医疗器械,所述聚合物基材包括但不限于聚碳酸酯、聚氨酯、聚氯乙烯、丙烯酸系材料以及它们的组合。
所述方法可用多种涂料中的一种或多种进行。然而,优选的涂料选自紫外光(UV)可固化的抗微生物组合物和抗微生物溶液。
在所述涂料包含UV可固化的抗微生物组合物的情况下,所述UV可固化组合物可包含任何合适的成分。在一些实施方案中,所述UV可固化组合物包含UV可固化材料,所述UV可固化材料包含具有至少一个丙烯酸酯型官能团的一种或多种聚氨酯或聚酯型低聚物、丙烯酸改性的单体和光引发剂。另外,在一些实施方案中,所述UV可固化组合物进一步包含一种或多种流变学改性剂和抗微生物剂。
在所述涂料包含抗微生物溶液的情况下,所述溶液可包含任何合适的成分。实际上,在一些实施方案中,所述溶液包含一种或多种溶剂、涂料树脂、流变学改性剂和抗微生物剂。
所述方法通常包括提供医疗器械、分配抗微生物涂料到所述器械的表面上、从所述器械上吹扫掉过量的涂料和使所述涂料固化到所述器械上。当然,所述方法可以以任何合适的方式进行改进。在一个改进的实例中,所述方法包括掩盖所述器械的一部分以防止涂料沉积到通过掩模覆盖的医疗器械的所述部分上。
在所述方法中,所述涂料可以任何合适的方式分配到器械的表面上。在一个实例中,机器将计算量的涂料喷射到器械上。
在已经将抗微生物涂料施涂到医疗器械之后,过量的涂料(如果有的话)可以任何合适的方式从器械上除去。例如,过量的涂料可通过用惰性气体从器械上吹去过量的涂料、在离心机中旋转医疗器械、用材料擦抹器械、通过重力等除去。然而,在一些当前优选的实施方案中,使用氮气从医疗器械上吹去过量的涂料。
在从医疗器械上除去过量的涂料的情况下,所述涂料可以以任何合适的方式固化。例如,UV可固化组合物可通过暴露于紫外光而迅速固化。例如,在将UV可固化组合物施涂到医疗器械之后,所述组合物可根据配方和固化条件而在数秒或数分钟内固化。在另一实例中,抗微生物溶液可通过暴露于热(例如红外加热)而相对迅速地固化。实际上,在某些情况下,所述溶液可在约100℃下在约5分钟或更少的时间内热固化。

发明详述
所述发明涉及用于用抗微生物涂料涂覆医疗器械的一个或多个表面的方法和组合物。抗微生物涂料一旦固化到医疗器械上,在涂料被IV流体或其它类型的流体软化时,涂料中的抗微生物剂能逐渐从涂料中扩散出来。因此,与医疗器械的被涂覆表面接触的微生物可被杀死且医疗器械可保持卫生历时较长的时间。

所述光引发剂可包含与所述UV可固化组合物(即所述UV可固化材料)的其它组分相容且在本发明的范围内可以使用的任何光引发剂。通常,所述光引发剂选自:单分子裂解型光引发剂,诸如一种或多种苯偶姻醚、苯乙酮、苯甲酰基肟和酰基氧化膦;或者夺氢型光引发剂,诸如米蚩酮、噻吨酮、蒽醌(anthroguionone)、二苯甲酮、甲基二乙醇胺和2-N-丁氧基乙基-4-(二甲氨基)苯甲酸盐。
所述光引发剂通常占所述UV可固化材料的约0.5%-约10%。实际上,在一些实施方案中,所述光引发剂占所述UV可固化材料的约1%-约8.5%。在其它实施方案中,所述光引发剂占所述UV可固化材料的约2%-约7%。
所述抗微生物剂可包含与所述UV可固化组合物的其它组分相容且在本发明的范围内可以使用的任何抗微生物剂。另外,在一些实施方案中,所述抗微生物剂包含溶解于所述UV可固化组合物或可均匀分布在其中的试剂。因此,在所述实施方案中,足够的抗微生物剂可在UV可固化组合物内迁移以接触微生物活性部位。在任何情况下,优选所述抗微生物剂不与UV可固化组合物的其它组分起化学反应。适合与所述UV可固化组合物一起使用的抗微生物剂的一些实例包括一种或多种醛、N-酰苯胺、双胍、银、银化合物、双酚和季铵化合物。
所述抗微生物剂通常以与100重量份UV可固化材料相比约0.5-约50重量份的量存在于UV可固化组合物中。在其它实施方案中,所述抗微生物剂以与100份UV可固化材料相比约0.5-约30重量份的量存在于UV可固化组合物中。在UV可固化组合物的其它实施方案中,所述抗微生物剂以与100份UV可固化材料相比约0.5-约20重量份的量存在。

所述丙烯酸酯聚合物或共聚物可包含与抗微生物溶液的其它组分相容且在本发明的范围内可以使用的任何丙烯酸酯聚合物和/或共聚物。在一些实施方案中,所述丙烯酸酯型聚合物、共聚物或聚合物树脂不溶于水,但可溶于下文论述的溶剂中的一种或多种中。例如,所述丙烯酸酯聚合物或共聚物通常选自一种或多种丙烯酸烷基酯、甲基丙烯酸烷基酯、羟基(甲基)丙烯酸烷基酯和甲氧基肉桂酸烷基酯丙烯酸酯(alkyl methoxycinnamate acrylates)。在该实例中,所述丙烯酸酯可为丙烯酸烷基酯、羟基(甲基)丙烯酸烷基酯或甲基丙烯酸烷基酯。另外,在该实例中,所述烷基可具有0-22的碳数,其中0是指氢,1是指甲基,2是指乙基,3是指丙基等),但优选碳数为0-6且更优选为0-3。
所述抗微生物溶液中的溶剂可包含与抗微生物溶液的其它组分相容且允许溶液如预期起作用的任何溶剂。例如,所述溶剂可包含能够溶解上述丙烯酸酯聚合物或共聚物的多种溶剂中的一种或多种。合适溶剂的一些实例包括一种或多种低分子量醇、低分子量烷烃、简单酮以及它们的组合。合适的低分子量醇的一些实例包含具有1-6个碳的醇(例如甲醇、乙醇、丙醇、异丙醇和丁醇)。然而,因为甲醇比较迅速地蒸发,在所有实施方案中甲醇可能都不是优选的。而在一些当前优选的实施方案中,所述溶剂包含乙醇或异丙醇。合适的低分子量烷烃的一些合适实例包含具有5-7个碳的烷烃(例如戊烷、己烷、庚烷以及它们的异构体)。实际上,在一些优选的实施方案中,所述溶剂包含己烷和/或庚烷。另外,合适的简单酮的实例是丙酮。然而,应当指出,在包含丙酮的一些实施方案中,所述溶剂优选还包含另一溶剂,诸如醇或烷烃。
虽然所述溶剂可占所述抗微生物溶液的任何合适量,但在一些实施方案中,所述溶剂占抗微生物溶液干燥重量的小于约67%。例如,在聚合物占抗微生物溶液的约60%±10%的情况下,溶剂可占所述溶液的小于约40%±10%。然而,在其它实施方案中,所述溶剂占所述组合物干燥重量的小于约50%。在仍其它实施方案中,所述溶剂占所述组合物干燥重量的小于约40%。
所述抗微生物溶液中的抗微生物剂可包含与溶液的其它组分相容且允许溶液如预期起作用的任何抗微生物剂。实际上,用于所述抗微生物溶液的抗微生物剂通常选自一种或多种醛、N-酰苯胺、双胍、银、银化合物、双酚和季铵化合物。在某些情况下,所述抗微生物剂优选选自氯化十六烷基非那吡啶(cetyl pyridium chloride)、西曲溴铵、苯扎氯铵、阿来西定、氯己定二乙酸盐和邻苯二甲醛。
虽然所述抗微生物剂可占所述抗微生物溶液的任何合适量,但在一些实施方案中,所述抗微生物剂占溶液干燥重量的小于约50%。在其它实施方案中,所述抗微生物剂占抗微生物溶液干燥重量的小于约30%。在仍其它实施方案中,所述抗微生物剂占抗微生物剂溶液干燥重量的约0.5%-约20%。
除了上述成分之外,所述抗微生物溶液还可包含任何其它合适的成分。实际上,在一些实施方案中,所述抗微生物溶液包含流变学改性剂,所述流变学改性剂通常选自有机粘土、蓖麻蜡、聚酰胺蜡、聚氨酯和煅制氧化硅。在这样的实施方案中,所述流变学改性剂通常以所述抗微生物溶液干燥重量的约0.2%-约30%的量存在。也就是说,溶剂已经蒸发后的组合物的重量。在某些其它实施方案中,所述流变学改性剂通常以抗微生物溶液的干燥重量的约0.2%-约20%的量存在。在某些其它实施方案中,所述流变学改性剂通常以抗微生物溶液的干燥重量的约0.2%-约10%的量存在。
虽然上文已经具体描述了抗微生物溶液,但是所述抗微生物溶液的更详细描述在2009年6月2日提交且题为“Antimicrobial CoatingCompositions(抗微生物涂覆组合物)”的美国专利申请12/476,997号中见到,其全部公开内容在此通过引用结合到本文中。
所述方法可以任何合适的方式进行或改进。举例来说,图2图示用于涂覆医疗器械的所述方法的一个当前优选的实施方案。具体地说,图2显示其中方法11在12处通过提供医疗器械开始的实例。
紧接着,在13处,图2显示方法10任选地包括掩盖所述医疗器械的一个或多个所要部分以防止抗微生物涂料接触被掩盖部分。举例来说,图3显示,在医疗器械包含具有Luer部件102的IV接入器械100(例如BECTON DICKINSON′s Q-

返回图2,方框14显示方法10通过分配抗微生物涂料(例如UV可固化组合物或抗微生物溶液)到医疗器械而继续。可将任何合适量的抗微生物涂料分配到医疗器械的所要表面上。例如,在医疗器械包含图3的IV接入器械的情况下,可将约0.01至约0.05克之间的抗微生物涂料分配到器械的内腔106中。在又一实例中,在医疗器械包含图3的IV接入器械的情况下,可将0.02至0.04克之间的抗微生物涂料分配到器械的内腔中。
在抗微生物涂料已经分配到医疗器械上之后,图2的方框16显示器械上的任何过量的涂料被从医疗器械上吹扫掉或以其它方式除去。以此方式,抗微生物涂料可使得具有横跨被涂覆表面的均匀厚度。过量的涂料可以以任何合适的方式除去,包括通过横跨医疗器械的被涂覆表面吹出惰性气体、在离心机中旋转医疗器械、允许过量的材料因重力拉动而从器械上滴下等。然而,在一些目前优选的实施方案中,横跨被涂覆的表面吹出诸如氮气、氦气或氩气的加压的惰性气体。例如,在医疗器械包含图3的IV接入器械100的情况下,优选将具有约5-约25磅/平方英寸(psi)(例如10psi±5psi)的空气压力的惰性气体诸如氮气吹过被涂覆的表面。
为了减少在所述方法期间浪费的抗微生物涂料的量,图2的方框17显示任选地收集并回收从医疗器械吹扫掉的过量微生物涂料。换句话说,过量的抗微生物涂料可被收集并用以涂覆另一医疗器械。
在从医疗器械除去过量的抗微生物涂料的情况下,方框20-22显示留在器械上的涂料被固化。虽然抗微生物涂料可以以任何合适的方式固化,但是方框20显示,在其中抗微生物涂料包含UV可固化组合物的一些实施方案中,所述UV可固化组合物通过暴露于紫外光来固化。在这样的实施方案中,可将所述UV可固化组合物暴露于任何合适波长的紫外光。在一个实例中,将UV可固化组合物暴露于具有约320-约500nm的波长的紫外光。在另一实例中,所述UV可固化组合物通过暴露于具有约350-约450nm的波长的光而交联。
另外,可将所述UV可固化组合物暴露于紫外光历时允许UV可固化组合物干燥并固化到医疗器械上的任何时间量。实际上,在一个实例中,所述UV可固化组合物在暴露于紫外光小于约1分钟之后固化。在另一实例中,所述UV可固化涂料在暴露于紫外光小于约30秒之后固化。在又一实例中,所述UV可固化涂料在暴露于紫外光小于约10秒之后固化。在最后的实例中,所述UV可固化涂料在暴露于紫外光小于约4秒之后固化。
现在提到方框22,图2显示,在其中抗微生物涂料包含抗微生物溶液的一些实施方案中,所述溶液通过暴露于来自热源(例如红外加热器、对流加热器、常规加热器等)的热而固化。在这样的实施方案中,涂覆所述器械的抗微生物溶液可在任何合适温度下固化。在一个实例中,所述溶液在小于约120℃的温度下固化。在另一实例中,所述抗微生物溶液在小于约100℃的温度下固化。在又一实例中,所述抗微生物溶液在小于约60℃的温度下固化。
虽然所述抗微生物溶液可在一定条件下在任何合适的时间量内固化,但是溶液在暴露于小于约60℃的温度下小于约10分钟之后固化。类似地,在一定条件下,所述抗微生物溶液在暴露于小于约100℃的温度下小于约5分钟之后固化。
一旦所述抗微生物涂料已固化,图2的方框24显示任选地将任何掩盖材料从医疗器械除去。此时,可以使用医疗器械且抗微生物涂料可在暴露于流体(例如IV流体)之后几乎立即生效。
所述方法可通过能够执行图2中所图示的特点中的一个或多个的任何合适的系统和/或设备来进行。实际上,在一些实施方案中,所述方法的至少一部分通过医疗器械涂覆系统进行。虽然这样的系统可包含任何合适的部件或特性,但图4A图示了代表性实施方案,其中医疗器械涂覆系统200包含医疗器械托板202、具有涂料分配头206和气体分配头208的顶部滑板204、涂料阀210、气阀212、气体贮存器214、附加漏斗216和加压的涂料贮存器218。
虽然所述医疗器械涂覆系统可以以任何合适的方式使用,但为了提供对所述系统的更透彻的理解,本文提供了其用途的典型实例。具体地说,图4B显示诸如IV接入器械100的一个或多个医疗器械可放置在医疗器械托板202上,使得器械100的内腔106的开口108面向涂料分配头206(在图4A中示出)。
为了保证贯穿涂覆过程医疗器械处于恰当取向,托板可以以任何合适的方式固定医疗器械在所要的取向。举例来说,图4B显示一个实施方案,其中当接入器械100上的凸缘110滑到托板202上的凹槽220中时,IV接入器械100被固定到托板202上。
在医疗器械被固定到托板202的情况下,图4A显示托板202放置在顶部滑板204下面。此时,顶部滑板204可相对于托板202移动,使得涂料分配头206安置在各器械的开口之上(图4A中未示出)。
分配头一旦与待涂覆的医疗器械的表面对准,则打开涂料阀210使预定量(例如约0.01-约0.05g)的抗微生物涂料从加压的涂料贮存器218中喷出,经过涂料分配头206并到达医疗器械上。虽然该分配过程可耗费任何合适的时间量,但在一些情况下,所述分配过程耗费4秒或更少(例如约2秒±1秒)那样少的时间。
在涂料已被分配之后,顶部滑板204在箭头222的方向上移动,使得气体分配头208安置在各医疗器械的被涂覆表面之上。气体分配头一旦恰当对准,顶部滑板204则在箭头224的方向上移动,使得气体分配头208形成对医疗器械的开口(在图4A中未示出)的密封。一旦形成密封,则打开气阀212以允许受控量的处于受控压力的惰性气体从医疗器械吹扫去任何过量的涂料。随后将该过量的涂料收集在附加漏斗216中,附加漏斗216引导过量的涂料回到加压的涂料贮存器218以备将来之用。
在从医疗器械上除去过量涂料的情况下,托板202可从顶部滑板204下面移出并根据所述抗微生物涂料的组成放置在诸如紫外光腔室或受热腔室的固化室(未图示)中。
在固化过程之后,将医疗器械从托板上移出且可将新批次的未涂覆的医疗器械放置在托板上以便可以重复该过程。
所述系统可以以任何合适的方式改进。在一个实例中,虽然图4A显示了其中系统200经构造以同时涂覆4个医疗器械的实施方案,但是所述系统可经改进以同时涂覆任何合适数量的医疗器械。例如,所述系统可经改进以同时涂覆1、2、3、5、6、7、8或更多个医疗器械。在另一实例中,代替包含涂料分配头和单独的气体分配头,抗微生物涂料和惰性气体可经单一头分配到医疗器械以便加快所述方法的分配和吹扫部分之间的时间。在又一实施方案中,托板、气体分配头或接近于医疗器械的一些其它部件可包含紫外光源。在这样的实施方案中,所述系统可在不需要将托板从顶部滑板下面的位置移出的情况下固化医疗器械。
如上文所论述,所述方法、设备和组合物具有若干有益特性。在一个实例中,所述方法允许医疗器械在比较短的时间内用抗微生物涂料(例如UV可固化组合物)涂覆。例如,代替耗费数小时(例如24小时)来使苛刻溶剂(例如THF或DMF)固化到医疗器械上,所述UV可固化涂料和所述抗微生物溶液分别可在几秒或几分钟内固化到医疗器械上。实际上,在其中抗微生物涂料包含UV可固化组合物的一些实施方案中,所述组合物可在约30秒内被分配、吹扫并固化。在一些优选的实施方案中,所述UV可固化组合物可在约10秒内被分配、吹扫并固化。类似地,在其中抗微生物涂料包含抗微生物溶液的一些实施方案中,所述溶液在约10分钟内被分配、吹扫并固化。然而,在一些目前优选的实施方案中,所述抗微生物溶液在小于约5分钟内被分配、吹扫并固化。
在所述方法的有益特征的另一实例中,所述方法可允许所述抗微生物涂料以基本均匀的涂层厚度施涂到医疗器械。在又一实例中,因为所述方法允许过量的抗微生物涂料被回收,所以所述方法总体上可使用比某些常规涂覆技术更少的抗微生物涂料。
在又一实例中,所述UV可固化和抗微生物溶液提供优于某些已知抗微生物涂料的若干优势。例如,所述UV可固化和抗微生物溶液可具有低毒性、价格比较低廉、环境更加友好、引起医疗器械较少变形或裂纹、美学上更令人喜爱且需要比若干竞争性抗微生物涂料(例如THF和DMF)价格低廉的设备。
可在不偏离如本文广泛描述且下文所要求的本发明的结构、方法或其它基本特征的情况下以任何特定形式涵盖本发明。所述实施方案和实施例在各方面仅被视为说明性的,而不是限制性的。因此,本发明的范围由附加权利要求书指出,而不是由上述描述指出。在权利要求书的等效物的含义和范围内的所有改变都将涵盖在其范围内。

Claims (20)

1.对医疗器械施涂抗微生物涂料的方法,所述方法包括:
提供第一医疗器械;
将抗微生物涂料分配到所述第一器械上,其中所述涂料选自:
a)UV可固化的抗微生物组合物,和
b)包含丙烯酸酯聚合物或共聚物的抗微生物溶液;
从所述第一器械吹扫掉过量的所述涂料;和
固化所述涂料。
2.权利要求1的方法,其中所述UV可固化组合物包含:
光引发剂;
低聚物;
单体;
流变学改性剂;和
抗微生物剂。
3.权利要求2的方法,其中所述光引发剂选自由以下各物组成的集合:苯偶姻醚、苯乙酮、苯甲酰基肟、酰基氧化膦、米蚩酮、噻吨酮、蒽醌(anthroguionone)、二苯甲酮、甲基二乙醇胺、2-N-丁氧基乙基-4-(二甲基氨基)苯甲酸盐以及它们的组合。
4.权利要求2的方法,其中所述低聚物选自丙烯酸改性的脂族聚氨酯、丙烯酸改性的芳族聚氨酯、丙烯酸改性的聚酯、不饱和聚酯、丙烯酸改性的聚醚、丙烯酸改性的丙烯酸系材料以及它们的组合。
5.根据权利要求2的方法,其中所述单体选自由以下各物组成的集合:丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、丙烯酸异辛酯、丙烯酸异冰片酯、1,6-己二醇二丙烯酸酯、二甘醇二丙烯酸酯、三甘醇二丙烯酸酯、季戊四醇四丙烯酸酯、季戊四醇三丙烯酸酯、二甲氧基苯基苯乙酮丙烯酸己基甲酯、1,6-己二醇甲基丙烯酸酯以及它们的组合。
6.权利要求1的方法,其中所述抗微生物溶液进一步包含:
选自具有1-6个碳的醇、具有1-6个碳的烷烃、丙酮以及它们的组合的溶剂;
流变学改性剂;和
抗微生物剂。
7.权利要求6的方法,其中所述丙烯酸酯聚合物或共聚物选自由以下各物组成的集合:丙烯酸烷基酯、甲基丙烯酸烷基酯、羟基(甲基)丙烯酸烷基酯、甲氧基肉桂酸烷基酯以及它们的组合。
8.权利要求1的方法,其中所述过量涂料的吹扫包括用加压的惰性气体从所述器械上吹去所述过量的涂料。
9.权利要求8的方法,其中所述过量的涂料被回收并分配到第二医疗器械上。
10.权利要求1的方法,其中所述涂料的固化包括将具有在其上布置的所述UV可固化组合物的所述第一器械暴露于紫外光。
11.权利要求1的方法,其中所述固化包括将具有所述抗微生物溶液的所述第一器械暴露于热。
12.对医疗器械施涂抗微生物涂料的方法,所述方法包括:
提供医疗器械;
分配UV可固化的抗微生物组合物到所述医疗器械上,其中所述涂料包含低聚物、单体、光引发剂、流变学改性剂和抗微生物剂;
从所述器械吹扫掉过量的所述组合物;和
通过暴露所述组合物于紫外光来固化所述组合物。
13.权利要求12的方法,其中所述组合物的所述分配、吹扫和固化在少于约30秒内完成。
14.权利要求12的方法,其中所述组合物的所述分配、所述吹扫和所述固化在少于约10秒内完成。
15.对医疗器械施涂抗微生物涂料的方法,所述方法包括:
提供医疗器械;
分配抗微生物溶液到所述医疗器械上;
从所述器械吹扫掉过量的所述组合物;和
用热源固化所述组合物,
其中所述抗微生物溶液包含丙烯酸酯聚合物或丙烯酸酯共聚物。
16.权利要求15的方法,其中所述抗微生物溶液进一步包含选自具有1-6个碳的醇、具有1-6个碳的烷烃、丙酮以及它们的组合的溶剂。
17.权利要求15的方法,其中所述抗微生物溶液进一步包含流变学改性剂和抗微生物剂。
18.权利要求15的方法,其中所述组合物的所述分配、吹扫和固化在少于约10分钟内完成。
19.权利要求15的方法,其中所述组合物的所述分配、吹扫和固化在少于约5分钟内完成。
20.权利要求17的方法,其中所述抗微生物剂选自氯化十六烷基非那吡啶、西曲溴铵、苯扎氯铵、阿来西定、氯己定二乙酸盐、邻苯二甲醛以及它们的组合。
