[001]A presente invenção relaciona-se a composições antimicrobianas e métodos para uso daquelas composições em várias aplicações médicas. Um dos desafios principais do tratamento médico moderno é o controle da infecção e do espalhamento de organismos microbianos.
[002]Uma área onde este desafio é constantemente apresentado está na terapia de infusão de vários tipos. A terapia de infusão é um dos procedimentos de cuidado da saúde mais comuns. O paciente hospitalizado, em cuidado domiciliar, e outros pacientes recebem fluidos, produtos farmacêuticos, e produtos de sangue via um dispositivo de acesso vascular inserido no sistema vascular. A terapia de infusão pode ser usada para tratar uma infecção, fornecer a anestesia ou a analgesia, fornecer o suporte nutricional, tratar o crescimento de câncer, manter a pressão sanguínea e o ritmo do coração, ou muitos outros uso clinicamente significativos.
[003]A terapia de infusão é facilitada por um dispositivo de acesso vascular. O dispositivo de acesso vascular pode acessar a vascularização periférica ou central de um paciente. O dispositivo de acesso vascular pode ficar internamente por um curto prazo (dias), um prazo moderado (semanas), ou por um longo prazo (meses a anos). O dispositivo de acesso vascular pode ser usado para a terapia de infusão contínua ou para a terapia intermitente.
[004]Um dispositivo de acesso vascular comum é um cateter plástico que é inserido na veia de um paciente. O comprimento de cateter pode variar de alguns centímetros do acesso periférico, a muitos centímetros para o acesso central e pode incluir dispositivos, tais como cateteres centrais perifericamente inseridos (PICC). O cateter pode ser inserido transdermicamente ou pode ser cirurgicamente implantado abaixo da pele do paciente. O cateter, ou qualquer outro dispositivo de acesso vascular ligado ao mesmo, pode ter um lúmen simple ou múltiplos lúmens para a infusão de muitos fluidos simultaneamente.
[005]O dispositivo de acesso vascular comumente inclui um adaptador luer ao qual outros dispositivos médicos podem ser ligados. Por exemplo, um conjunto de administração pode ser ligado a um dispositivo de acesso vascular em uma extremidade e a uma bolsa intravenosa (IV) na outra. O conjunto de administração é um canal fluido para infusão contínua de fluidos e produtos farmacêuticos. Comumente, um dispositivo de acesso IV é um dispositivo de acesso vascular que pode estar ligado a outro dispositivo de acesso vascular, fechar o dispositivo de acesso vascular, e permitir a infusão intermitente ou a injeção de fluidos e produtos farmacêuticos. Um dispositivo de acesso IV pode incluir uma carcaça e um septo para fechamento do sistema. O septo pode ser aberto com uma cânula embotada ou uma conexão luer macho de um dispositivo médico.
[006]Quando o septo de um dispositivo de acesso vascular não consegue funcionar propriamente ou tem características de desenho inadequadas, certas complicações podem ocorrer. As complicações associadas com a terapia de infusão podem causar a morbidez significativa e até a mortalidade. Uma complicação significativa é a infecção da corrente sanguínea relacionada ao cateter (CRBSI). Uma estimativa de 250.000 a 400.000 casos de cateter venoso central (CVC) associado a BSIs ocorrem anualmente em hospitais dos Estados Unidos.
[007]Um dispositivo de acesso vascular pode servir como uma origem de infecção, resultando em uma disseminação das BSI (infecção de corrente sanguínea). Isto pode ser causado pela falha em lavar regularmente o dispositivo com água, por uma técnica de inserção não-estéril, ou por agentes patogênicos que se introduziram na via de fluxo fluido através de qualquer extremidade da via posteriormente à inserção do cateter. Quando um dispositivo de acesso vascular está contaminado, os agentes patogênicos aderem ao dispositivo de acesso vascular, proliferam, e formam um biofilme. O biofilme é resistente à maior parte dos agentes biocidas e fornece uma fonte de reabastecimento de agentes patogênicos para se introduzirem na circulação sanguínea de um paciente e causar uma BSI. Assim, os dispositivos com propriedades antimicrobianas são necessários.
[008]Uma aproximação da prevenção da formação de biofilme e da infecção do paciente é fornecer um revestimento antimicrobiano em vários dispositivos e componentes médicos. Muitos dispositivos médicos são feitos com materiais metálicos ou poliméricos. Estes materiais normalmente têm um alto coeficiente da fricção. Um material de baixo peso molecular ou um líquido com um baixo coeficiente de fricção está normalmente presente na composição da maior parte dos materiais ou está revestido sobre a superfície dos substratos para auxiliar na funcionalidade dos dispositivos.
[009]Durante os últimos 35 anos, foi prática comum o uso de uma solução de poliuretano termoplástico como o transportador para revestimentos de antimicrobiano. O solvente é normalmente tetraidrofurano (THF), dimetilformamida (DMF), ou a mistura de ambos. Como THF pode ser oxidado muito rapidamente e tende a ser muito explosivo, a instalação de um dispendioso revestimento à prova de explosão se faz necessária. Esses solventes rigorosos também atacam muitos dos materiais poliméricos comumente usados, incluindo o poliuretano, silício, poliisopreno, policarbonato de borracha butílica, poliuretano rígido, cloreto de polivinila rígido, acrílicos, e borracha de butadieno estireno (SBR). Por isso, os dispositivos médicos feitos com estes materiais podem ficar alterados dentro de algum tempo e/ou formar microfendas nas suas superfícies. Outro problema com este tipo de revestimento é que se precisa de quase 24 horas para o solvente ser completamente evaporado pelo aquecimento. Consequentemente, a tecnologia convencional tem problemas persistentes com processamento, desempenho e preço.
[010]0utra limitação ao uso de tais dispositivos é a disponibilidade geral de agentes antimicrobianos adequados para uso no controle do crescimento microbiano. Um dos agentes antimicrobianos o mais comumente usados em dispositivos médicos é a prata. Os sais de prata e o elemento prata são agentes antimicrobianos bem conhecidos tanto na indústria cirúrgica médica como nas indústrias em geral. Eles são normalmente incorporados no material de volume do polímero ou revestidos sobre a superfície dos dispositivos médicos através do uso de plasma, evaporação pelo calor, galvanização, ou por tecnologias convencionais de revestimento com solventes. Estas tecnologias são tediosas, caras, e não ambientalmente seguras.
[011]Além disso, o desempenho de dispositivos médicos revestidos de prata é medíocre na melhor das hipóteses. Por exemplo, eles podem levar até oito (8) horas antes do íon de prata, ionizado dos sais de prata ou prata elementar, para conseguir a eficácia como um agente antimicrobiano. Uma atividade microbiana substancial, por conseguinte, pode ocorrer antes que o revestimento de prata venha a entrar em vigor. Além disso, o elemento composto de prata ou a prata tem uma cor desagradável, de âmbar escuro a preto.
[012]Os dispositivos de acesso vascular deste tipo podem necessitar, ou se beneficiar do uso de, um lubrificante. Um lubrificante pode ser aplicado às partes móveis do dispositivo para facilitar o acionamento do septo. Contudo, com lubrificantes convencionais, as bactérias e outros microrganismos também podem residir no lubrificante. Os lubrificantes convencionais não estão destinados a prevenir ou significativamente inibir o crescimento e a propagação microbiana. De fato, os lubrificantes convencionais podem desempenhar um papel no espalhamento de agentes microbianos.
[013]Consequentemente, há uma necessidade na técnica de métodos melhorados para fornecer a capacidade antimicrobiana a dispositivos médicos de vários tipos, e particularmente dispositivos relacionados à terapia de infusão. Especificamente, há a necessidade do uso de um lubrificante antimicrobiano eficaz que pode ser usado em relação a vários tipos de dispositivos médicos. Há a necessidade de um lubrificante que auxilie na prevenção da propagação microbiana e pode ser útil e eficaz no extermínio de agentes microbianos pelo contato.
[014]A presente invenção foi desenvolvida em resposta a problemas e necessidades na técnica que ainda não foram totalmente resolvidos por composições antimicrobianas e métodos atualmente disponíveis. Assim, estas composições e métodos são desenvolvidos para reduzir as complicações, tais como o risco e a ocorrência de CRBSIs, fornecendo composições antimicrobianas melhoradas e métodos para uso em conjunção com dispositivos médicos.
[015]Como acima mencionado, certos tipos de dispositivos médicos necessitam um lubrificante para funcionar suavemente e eficazmente. Se um dispositivo for repetidamente movido de uma posição para outra, um lubrificante muitas vezes é empregado. Um exemplo deste tipo de dispositivo é um dispositivo de acesso do tipo IV descrito acima. Estes dispositivos, por exemplo, podem ter um septo interno que seja repetidamente acionado. Por exemplo, o septo pode ser aberto com uma cânula embotada ou o macho luer de um dispositivo médico. Uma vez que a cânula ou o luer seja removido, o septo deve recuar até a sua configuração fechada original. Por isso, os lubrificantes podem ser empregados para facilitar o acionamento suave e confiável do dispositivo.
[016]Por conseguinte, em um aspecto a invenção compreende lubrificantes que têm propriedades antimicrobianas, e estão destinados para o uso em dispositivos médicos. Os lubrificantes da presente invenção são particularmente úteis em dispositivos de acesso intravascular como as válvulas sem agulha do tipo descrito acima. Os próprios dispositivos médicos são compreendidos de substratos poliméricos, substratos especialmente elastoméricos (por exemplo poliuretano, silício, poliisopreno, borracha butílica). As suas superfícies são cobertas do lubrificante, que contém o reagente antimicrobiano uniformemente distribuído em todas as partes da sua matriz. Os agentes antimicrobianos são capazes de difundir através da matriz e exterminar organismos microscópicos que entram em contato com a superfície lubrificante.
[017]As formulações do lubrificante nesta invenção são compreendidas de uma mistura ou uma combinação de um ou mais óleos lubrificantes, modificadores reológicos opcionais, e agentes antimicrobianos. Na mistura, as partículas de tamanho nano ou micro dos agentes antimicrobianos são uniformemente e permanentemente distribuídas em todas as partes da matriz lubrificante. Os modificadores reológicos são usados quando necessário para controlar as propriedades da mistura resultante. A formulação lubrificante é isenta de solvente. Assim, os problemas acima mencionados relativos ao uso de solventes rigorosos, tais como THF e DMF são evitados.
[018]O óleo lubrificante pode ser polidimetil siloxano, politrifluoropropilmetil siloxano, ou um copolímero de dimetilsiloxano e trifluoropropilmetilsiloxano. É preferido que estes materiais possuam uma viscosidade menor do que 50.000 cPs.
[019]Como acima mencionado, em algumas modalidades é preferível acrescentar um modificador reológico aos materiais listados acima. Os exemplos de tais modificadores reológicos incluem argila orgânica, cera de rícino, cera de poliam ida, poliuretano, e sílica pirogênica. Qualquer modificador de reologia que seja compatível com o lubrificante e os agentes antimicrobianos é aceitável para uso na composição.
[020]Um agente antimicrobiano também é acrescentado à composição lubrificante. O agente antimicrobiano pode ser qualquer agente que seja compatível com os outros componentes da formulação lubrificante. Além disso, é preferido que o agente antimicrobiano supere certas limitações da técnica anterior. Em algumas modalidades, os agentes antimicrobianos podem ser selecionados do grupo consistindo de aldeídos, anilidas, biguanidas, prata elementar, ou o seu composto, bis-fenóis, compostos de amónio quaternários, cloreto de cetil piridinio, cetrimida, alexidina, diacetato de clorexidina, cloreto benzalcônio, e o-ftalaldeído.
[021]Em algumas modalidades da invenção, estes componentes são misturados uniformemente para produzir o lubrificante antimicrobiano da invenção. Assim, a fabricação e o processamento são relativamente fáceis e baratos. Além disso, como os reagentes antimicrobianos estão uniformemente distribuídos na matriz lubrificante, eles gradualmente se difundem para fora da matriz. Isto resulta no controle de agentes microbiológicos e especificamente no extermínio dos micróbios que entram em contato com a superfície lubrificante.
[022]Assim, a presente invenção fornece lubrificantes antimicrobianos que são eficazes quando usados com relação a dispositivos médicos. O lubrificante fornece a lubrificação eficaz do dispositivo médico, fornecendo ao mesmo tempo propriedades antimicrobianas significativas. O lubrificante é formulado sem o uso de solventes rigorosos ou outros agentes químicos que complicariam o processamento e a formulação. Além disso, a formulação é eficaz como um antimicrobiano já que o agente antimicrobiano está prontamente disponível para difundir através do lubrificante e atingir o sítio da atividade microbiana.
[023]De modo que a maneira pela qual as características recitadas acima e outras características e vantagens da invenção são obtidas seja prontamente entendido, uma descrição mais particular da invenção resumidamente descrita acima será produzida em relação à modalidades específicas da mesma que são ilustradas na figura anexada. Essa figura representa somente uma modalidade típica da invenção e por isso não deve ser considerada como limitando o alcance da invenção.
[024]A Figura 1 é uma vista em perspectiva de uma modalidade de uma montagem de cateter conforme a presente invenção.
[025]Referindo-se agora à Figura 1, um dispositivo de acesso vascular (também referido como um dispositivo extravascular, dispositivo de acesso intravenoso, porta de acesso, e/ou qualquer dispositivo ligado a, ou funcionando com, um sistema extravasou lar) 10 é usado para introduzir uma substância via um cateter 12 através da pele 14 em um vaso sanguíneo 16 de 18 pacientes. O dispositivo de acesso vascular 10 inclui um corpo 20 com um lúmen e um septo 22 colocado dentro do lúmen. O septo 22 tem uma fenda 24 através da qual um dispositivo extravascular separado 26, tal como uma seringa, pode introduzir uma substância no dispositivo de acesso vascular 10.
[026]O dispositivo 10 também inclui um lubrificante antimicrobiano 40 aplicado ao septo 22 para facilitar a operação do dispositivo e inibir o crescimento e propagação de organismos microbianos. O lubrificante ajuda a prevenir agentes patogênicos microbianos dentro do dispositivo de acesso vascular 10, incluindo o cateter 12 e a extremidade 32 do cateter 12, e/ou o sistema extravascular 28 ao qual o dispositivo de acesso vascular 10 é conectado. O lubrificante entra em contato com agentes patogênicos microbianos conforme eles se introduzam no septo 22 para reduzir a incidência de infecções da corrente sanguínea em pacientes aos quais o dispositivo de acesso vascular 10, ou qualquer outro dispositivo em um sistema extravascular, 28 esteja ligado.
[027]Um agente patogênico pode se introduzir no dispositivo 10 ou no sistema 28 por qualquer um de diversos modos. Por exemplo, um agente patogênico pode residir dentro do dispositivo 10 ou do sistema 28 antes do primeiro uso. Um agente patogênico também pode ser introduzido no dispositivo 10 a partir da superfície externa do dispositivo, a superfície externa de um dispositivo separado 26, e/ou o ambiente circundante quando for uma estrutura, tal como quando uma ponta 30 do dispositivo separado 26 é inserida no dispositivo 10 através da fenda 24 do septo 22. Um agente patogênico pode ser introduzido dentro do fluido que é infundido no sistema de um dispositivo separado 26. Finalmente, um agente patogênico pode ser introduzido em um vaso sanguíneo 16 no sistema 28 introduzindo através da extremidade 32 do cateter 12 durante a retirada de sangue ou um período do refluxo de sangue quando o dispositivo 10 está em uso. [028]Como discutido acima, o lubrificante antimicrobiano da presente invenção pode compreender um óleo lubrificante; um modificador reológico; e um agente antimicrobiano. O óleo lubrificante é qualquer material que seja capaz de lubrificar o dispositivo médico selecionado ao qual é aplicado. Para muitos dos tipos de dispositivos descritos aqui, o óleo lubrificante é geralmente selecionado do grupo consistindo de polidimetil siloxano, politrifluoropropilmetil siloxano, e um copolímero de dimetilsiloxano e trifluoropropilmetilsiloxano. Em algumas modalidades preferidas, o óleo lubrificante é um copolímero de dimetilsiloxano e trifluoropropilmetilsiloxano. Em algumas modalidades, o óleo lubrificante tem uma viscosidade de 50.000 cPs ou menos e preferivelmente 1000 cPs ou menos.
[029]A composição lubrificante antimicrobiana também pode compreender um ou mais modificadores reológicos. Em certas modalidades preferidas, o modificador reológico é acrescentado em quantidades de aproximadamente 0,2 a aproximadamente 30 partes em peso em 100 partes em peso do óleo lubrificante. Em outras modalidades preferidas a composição lubrificante pode compreender o modificador reológico em quantidades de aproximadamente 0,2 até aproximadamente 20 partes em peso dos modificadores reológicos em 100 partes em peso do óleo lubrificante. Em outras modalidades preferidas, a composição lubrificante pode conter o modificador reológico em quantidades de aproximadamente 0,2 até aproximadamente 10 partes em peso dos modificadores reológicos em 100 partes em peso do óleo lubrificante.
[030]Como discutido acima, em certas modalidades, o modificador reológico é selecionado do grupo consistindo de argila orgânica, cera de rícino, cera de poliamida, poliuretano, e sílica pirogênica. Em certos exemplos sílica pirogênica pode ser preferida. Contudo, outros modificadores reológicos podem ser usados como desejado.
[031]A composição também pode conter um ou mais reagente antimicrobiano. O agente antimicrobiano é selecionado de tal modo que é compatível com os outros componentes da composição lubrificante antimicrobiana. Também, o agente antimicrobiano é compatível com o dispositivo médico ao qual a composição lubrificante antimicrobiana é aplicada.
[032]Geralmente, o agente antimicrobiano está presente na composição lubrificante antimicrobiana em quantidades de aproximadamente 0,5 até aproximadamente 50 partes em peso em 100 partes do óleo lubrificante. Em certas outras modalidades o agente antimicrobiano pode ser apresentam em quantidades de aproximadamente 0,5 até aproximadamente 30 partes em peso em 100 partes em peso do óleo lubrificante. Em certas outras modalidades, o agente antimicrobiano pode ser apresenta em quantidades de aproximadamente 0,5 até aproximadamente 20 partes em peso em 100 partes em peso do óleo lubrificante.
[033]Os agentes antimicrobianos aceitáveis podem incluir, mas não são limitados a, aldeídos, anilidas, biguanidas, bis-fenóis, e compostos de amónio quaternários. Em certas modalidades, o agente antimicrobiano pode ser selecionado do grupo consistindo de cloreto de cetil piridinio, cetrimida, alexidina, diacetato de clorexidina, cloreto benzalcônio, e o-ftalaldeído.
[034]Em resumo, em certas modalidades a composição lubrificante antimicrobiana pode ser formulada do seguinte modo: um lubrificante selecionado do grupo consistindo de polidimetil siloxano, politrifluoropropilmetil siloxano, e um copolímero de dimetilsiloxaπo e trifluoropropilmetilsiloxano; um modificador reológico selecionado do grupo consistindo de argila orgânica, cera de rícino, cera de poliamida, poliuretano, e sílica pirogênica; e um agente antimicrobiano selecionado do grupo consistindo de cloreto de cetil piridinio, cetrimida, alexidina, diacetato de clorexidina, cloreto benzalcônio, e o-ftalaldeído.
[035]A Tabela 1 ilustra a zona de extermínio por contato e de inibição de diferentes formulações lubrificantes. Como mostrado na Tabela 1, a prata elementar (10) e composto de prata (3, 4 e 5) todos têm um contato relativamente baixo matam até 8 horas depois. O cloreto de cetil piridinio, a cetrimida, a alexidina, o diacetato de clorexidina e o cloreto benzalcônio todos têm um contato significativo e matam dentro de 1 minuto. Tabela 1. Lubrificante - Med-460, 350 cPs da Nusil Silicone Technology (Carpinteria, CA). 2. Modificador de reologia - Sílica pirogênica da Cabot Corporation (Tuscola, IL). 3. Agente antimicrobiano - cloreto de cetil piridinio, cetrimida, alexidina, diacetato de clorexidina ou cloreto benzalcônio.

As amostras de 1 a 5 incluíram o lubrificante Med.-360 que é compreendido de polidimetil siloxano com uma viscosidade de 350 cPs. As amostras de 16 a 20 incluíram o lubrificante Med.-400 que compreende o politrifluoropropilmetil siloxano com uma viscosidade de 1000 cPs. O agente antimicrobiano foi variado como se segue: 16. diacetato de clorexidina 17. cetrimida 18. cloreto de cetil piridinio 19. cloreto benzalcônio 20. o-ftalaldeído Tabela 5. Extermínio por Contato (% exterminado) e a Zona da Inibição (mm) de diferentes formulações de lubrificante1.
[041]A Tabela 6 ilustra o Extermínio por Contato e a zona da inibição de diferentes composições lubrificantes. As amostras de 21 a 25 incluíram o lubrificante Med.-420 que é compreendido de um copolímero de dimetilsiloxano e trifluoropropilmetilsiloxano com uma viscosidade de 350 cPs. O agente antimicrobiano foi variado como se segue: 21. diacetato de clorexidina 22. cetrimida 23. cloreto de cetil piridinio 24. cloreto benzalcônio 25. o-ftalaldeído Tabela 6. [042]A Tabela 7 ilustra o Extermínio por Contato e a zona da inibição de diferentes composições lubrificantes. As amostras de 26 a 30 incluíram o lubrificante Med.-420 que é compreendido de um copolímero de dimetilsiloxano e trifluoropropilmetilsiloxano com uma viscosidade de 1000 cPs. O agente antimicrobiano foi variado como se segue: 26. diacetato de clorexidina 27. cetrimida 28. cloreto de cetil piridinio 29. cloreto benzalcônio 30. o-ftalaldeído Tabela 7. Q Extermínio por Contato (% exterminado) e a Zona da Inibição (mm) de diferentes formulações de lubrificante1.
[043]A Tabela 8 ilustra o Extermínio por Contato e a zona da inibição de diferentes composições lubrificantes. As amostras de 31 a 35 incluíram o lubrificante Med.-460 que é compreendido de um copolímero de dimetilsiloxano e trifluoropropilmetilsiloxano com uma viscosidade de 1000 cPs. O agente antimicrobiano foi variado como se segue: 31. diacetato de clorexidina 32. cetrimida 33. cloreto de cetil piridinio 34. cloreto benzalcônio 35. o-ftalaldeído Tabela 8. O Extermínio por Contato (% exterminado) e a Zona da Inibição (mm) de diferentes formulações de lubrificante1.
[044]Também se apreciará que o lubrificante com uma viscosidade de menor do que 50.000 cPs é geralmente preferido. Tais lubrificantes podem ser como se segue: polidimetil siloxano com uma viscosidade menor do que 50.000 cPs; polisiloxano de copolímero de trifluoropropil com uma viscosidade menor do que 50.000 cPs.; e um copolímero de dimetilsiloxano e trifluoropropilmetilsiloxano com uma viscosidade menor do que 50.000 cPs.
[045]Como acima mencionado, os modificadores reológicos podem ser argila orgânica, cera de rícino, a cera de poliamida, poliuretano, sílica pirogênica, etc. A quantidade do modificador deve ser menor do que 30 partes em peso em 100 partes em peso do lubrificante, preferivelmente menor do que 20 partes em peso, e o mais preferivelmente entre 0.2 a 10 partes em peso em 100 partes do lubrificante.
[046]Os agentes antimicrobianos podem ser aldeídos, anilidas, biguanidas, prata elementar ou o seu composto, bis-fenóis, e compostos de amónio quaternários das formulações. Em alguns modalidades preferidas os agentes podem ser cloreto de cetil piridinio, cetrimida, e cloreto benzalcônio, alexidina, ou diacetato de clorexidina. A quantidade do agente na formulação deve ser menor do que 50 partes em peso em 100 partes em peso do lubrificante, preferivelmente menor do que 30 partes em peso, e o mais preferivelmente entre 0,5 a 20 partes em peso em 100 partes em peso do lubrificante.
[047]A presente invenção pode ser personificada em outras formas específicas sem fugir das suas estruturas, métodos, ou outras características essenciais como amplamente descrito aqui e afirmado daqui por diante. As modalidades descritas devem ser consideradas sob todos os pontos de vista, somente como ilustrativas, e não restritivas. O alcance da invenção, assim, é indicado pelas reivindicações acrescentadas, em vez de pela descrição precedente. Claims (12)
1. Composição lubrificante antimicrobiana CARACTERIZADA pelo fato de que compreende: um óleo lubrificante; um modificador reológico na quantidade de 0,2 partes em peso até 10 partes em peso em 100 partes em peso do óleo lubrificante, o modificador reológico selecionado do grupo consistindo em argila orgânica, cera de rícino, cera de poliamida, poliuretano e sílica pirogênica; e um agente antimicrobiano selecionado do grupo consistindo em aldeídos, anilidas, biguanidas, bis-fenóis, compostos de amónio quaternários, cloreto de cetil piridinio, cetrimida, alexidina, diacetato de clorexidina, cloreto benzalcônio e o- ftalaldeído.
2. Composição lubrificante antimicrobiana, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, CARACTERIZADA pelo fato de que o agente antimicrobiano é selecionado do grupo consistindo em aldeídos, anilidas, biguanidas, prata, compostos de prata, bis-fenóis, e compostos de amónio quaternários.
3. Composição lubrificante antimicrobiana, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, CARACTERIZADA pelo fato de que o agente antimicrobiano é selecionado do grupo consistindo em cloreto de cetil piridinio, cetrimida, alexidina, diacetato de clorexidina, cloreto benzalcônio, e o-ftalaldeído.
4. Composição lubrificante antimicrobiana, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, CARACTERIZADA pelo fato de que o lubrificante é selecionado do grupo consistindo em polidimetil siloxano, politrifluoropropilmetil siloxano, e um copolímero de dimetilsiloxano e trifluoropropilmetilsiloxano.
5. Composição lubrificante antimicrobiana, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, CARACTERIZADA pelo fato de que o lubrificante é um copolímero de dimetilsiloxano e trifluoropropilmetilsiloxano.
6. Composição lubrificante antimicrobiana, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, CARACTERIZADA pelo fato de que o lubrificante tem uma viscosidade de 50.000 cps ou menos.
7. Composição lubrificante antimicrobiana, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, CARACTERIZADA pelo fato de que o modificador reológico é sílica pirogênica.

Composição lubrificante antimicrobiana, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, CARACTERIZADA pelo fato de que a composição compreende o agente antimicrobiano em quantidades de 0,5 partes em peso até 50 partes em peso em 100 partes em peso do óleo lubrificante, ou em que a composição compreende o agente antimicrobiano em quantidades de 0,5 partes em peso até 30 partes em peso em 100 partes em peso do óleo lubrificante, ou em que a composição compreende o agente antimicrobiano em quantidades de 0,5 partes em peso até 20 partes em peso em 100 partes em peso do óleo lubrificante.
9. Composição lubrificante antimicrobiana, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, CARACTERIZADA pelo fato de que compreende: um óleo lubrificante selecionado do grupo consistindo em polidimetil siloxano, politrifluoropropilmetil siloxano, e um copolímero de dimetilsiloxano e trifluoropropilmetilsiloxano; um modificador reológico selecionado do grupo consistindo em argila orgânica, cera de rícino, cera de poliamida, poliuretano, e sílica pirogênica; e um agente antimicrobiano selecionado do grupo consistindo em cloreto de cetil piridinio, cetrimida, alexidina, diacetato de clorexidina, cloreto benzalcônio e o- ftalaldeído.
10. Composição lubrificante antimicrobiana, de acordo com a reivindicação 9, CARACTERIZADA pelo fato de que a composição compreende o modificador reológico em quantidades de 0,2 até 30 partes em peso em 100 partes em peso do óleo lubrificante.
11. Composição lubrificante antimicrobiana, de acordo com a reivindicação 9, CARACTERIZADA pelo fato de que a composição compreende o agente antimicrobiano em quantidades de 0,5 até 50 partes em peso em 100 partes em peso do óleo lubrificante.
12. Composição lubrificante antimicrobiana, de acordo com a reivindicação 9, CARACTERIZADA pelo fato de que compreende: um óleo lubrificante que compreende um copolímero de dimetilsiloxano e trifluoropropilmetilsiloxano; um modificador reológico que compreende sílica pirogênica; e um agente antimicrobiano selecionado do grupo consistindo em cloreto de cetil piridinio, cetrimida, alexidina, diacetato de clorexideno, e cloreto benzalcônio.
