Abstract

''SUPORTE CERâMICO, CORPO CERâMICO-CATALISADOR E PROCESSOS PARA PRODUZIR OS MESMOS''. Um suporte cerâmico capaz de suportar um componente de catalisador, que compreende um corpo cerâmico tendo poros finos com um diâmetro de largura de até 1000 vezes o diâmetro do íon do componente de catalisador a ser suportado sobre a superfície do referido corpo cerâmico, o número dos referidos poros finos não sendo inferior a 1 x 10^ 11^ poros por litro, é produzido pela introdução de vacâncias de oxigênio ou defeitos de rede na rede do cristal de cordierita ou por aplicação de um choque térmico para formar fissuras finas.
