Abstract
"COMPOSIçõES DE SUPORTE DE CATALISADOR DE ZEóLITO/ALUMINA E MéTODO DE PRODUçãO DAS MESMAS". Composto de zeólito/alumina, e um método para a produção do composto para uso como um substrato de catalisador ou veículo de catalisador, compreendendo zeólito tendo uma razão de sílica/alumina de mais do que 300, e gama alumina tendo uma área superficial específica de mais do que 100 m^ 2^/g. O composto de zeólito/alumina exibindo um módulo de ruptura de pelo menos 750 psi. Adicionalmente, a invenção é também dirigida a um sistema de três catalisadores (TWC) para uso na remoção de hidrocarbonetos monóxido de carbono e óxidos de nitrogênio de gás de despejo, o sistema TWC compreendendo os seguintes componentes: (1) um suporte de catalisador de composto de zeólito/alumina exibindo um módulo de ruptura de pelo menos 750 psi, e tendo um zeólito com uma razão de sílica/zeólito de pelo menos 300, e uma alumina compreendendo uma gama alumina tendo uma área superficial específica de mais do que 100 M^ 2^/g; e (2) um catalisador de metal nobre impregnado no suporte de catalisador, o metal nobre selecionado a partir do grupo consistindo de platina, ródio, irídio e paládio.
