Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'étanchéité pour assurer l'étanchéification de joints. Ledit dispositif d'étanchéité (22) présente un corps creux (23) tubulaire pouvant être fixé sur deux éléments (10, 17) formant entre eux un joint à rendre étanche, par deux segments de fixation (29, 30) opposés l'un à l'autre. Selon l'invention, il est prévu que le dispositif d'étanchéité présente dans le corps creux (23) un dispositif d'appui (24) qui maintient les deux segments de fixation (29, 30) stables l'un par rapport à l'autre, de sorte que le dispositif d'étanchéité (22) présente une stabilité de sustentation pour assurer le positionnement mutuel des deux éléments (10, 17) lors du montage. Il est également prévu que le dispositif d'appui (24) soit conçu de sorte à permettre des mouvements relatifs des deux segments de fixation (29, 30) en position montée en raison des mouvements des deux éléments (10, 17), de manière à déformer le dispositif d'étanchéité (22) ou le corps creux (23) qui permet de maintenir un recouvrement (33) étanche du joint (37).
