Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'étanchéité pour assurer l'étanchéité de joints. Un corps support (29) oblong du dispositif d'étanchéité (22) contient deux faces extérieures opposées l'une à l'autre, destinées à être assemblées, au moyen de dispositifs d'assemblage extérieur, à deux éléments (10, 17) formant entre eux un joint à rendre étanche et ledit corps support présente une stabilité de sustentation pour assurer le positionnement mutuel des deux éléments (10, 17) au moment du montage. Selon l'invention, il est prévu une bande d'étanchéité (33) qui recouvre une face avant (35) du corps support (29) entre ses deux faces extérieures (36) et maintient un recouvrement étanche du joint (23), même en cas de mouvement relatif des deux faces extérieures (36) en position montée et en cas de modifications du corps porteur (29) dues audit mouvement relatif. Le dispositif d'étanchéité ou la bande d'étanchéité (33) et le corps support (29) sont conçus indépendamment des éléments.
