Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a strip according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a generic strip for covering a joint between a window frame and a window reveal is, for example, from DE 9110541 U1 known.
  • the strip has two strip sections movably connected to one another via a joint formation extending in the longitudinal direction of the strip. Due to the Gelenkausformung the strip sections can be brought into various angles to each other, so that the joint cover strip can be used as an angle bar.
  • the Gelenkausformung is hereby formed by a grooved in the longitudinal direction at a distance from the strip edge groove. But there are other than those in the DE 9110541 U1 mentioned, known in the art joints, in particular in the form of film hinges, known. Of course, the joint formation must be tight.
  • the bar according to DE 9110541 U1 can have various widths and lengths. It is made of hard PVC and can be kept on wheels in stock.
  • Such strips are used not only for covering joints between the window frame and window reveal, but also between the door and Moslaibung. Accordingly, the present invention is not limited only to ledges for covering and sealing joints between window frames and the soffit.
  • self-adhesive tapes are arranged on the back of the strip on both sides of the Gelenkausformung. After removing a protective strip, the strip is glued to the window frame and the window reveal.
  • the DE 9000464 U1 discloses a strip for covering a joint between a window frame and the masonry.
  • the flat strip disclosed therein comprises a laterally anextruded, elastic sealing lip and double-sided adhesive tape on the back.
  • the strip is not only used to cover a gap between the frame of a window and the masonry, but can also be used to cover joints in similar cases, such as partitions, the construction of conservatories or exhibition stand. Accordingly, the present invention is not limited only to ledges for covering and sealing joints between window frames and the reveal.
  • a plastic sealing strip for sealing between a window frame or the like and a window reveal with two over a longitudinally extending in the longitudinal direction of the sealing strip Gelenkausformung movably interconnected strip sections known.
  • a first strip section is formed here for adhesive bonding with the window frame.
  • the second strip portion is hinged to form an opening angle exceeding 180 °, the window frame or the window reveal facing opening angle.
  • the second strip portion is a carrier of a restoring force seal spacer in the form of a rubber-like solid material strip and / or a foam sealing strip.
  • the latter consists of a compressed material received in a separable film.
  • Such a foam sealing strip is in the DE 199 44 611 A1 described.
  • the second strip portion is also associated with the window opening facing a kinked extending sealing lip as the second spacer means, which adapts, for example, rubs on the window reveal and in particular ensures an aesthetically pleasing completion of the bar.
  • a disadvantage of such a strip is that the entire strip is under tension due to the spacer means, which can lead to a deterioration of the material, in particular to breakage in the region of lowest material thickness, ie between the first and second strip section.
  • you can These voltages also lead to detachment of the only adhesive bond between the window frame and the first strip section.
  • the bar would be leaking.
  • the entire bar is held only by a single adhesive bond between the window frame and the first strip section.
  • the non-bonded strip portion is a weaker seal, since the adhesive usually acts simultaneously as a sealant.
  • the restoring force of said sealing spacer decreases over time or due to the movements occurring between the window frame and the window reveal, leading to leaks in the joint.
  • the present invention seeks to improve a generic bar to the effect that this is glued to both the window or door frame and with the soffit and seals reliably even with larger movements between window or door frame and soffit. It is a bar to be created, which is suitable in this sense for the renovation of old building windows without significant impairment of the building fabric.
  • the strip according to the invention for covering and sealing a joint between a window or door frame and a soffit comprises two strip sections extending in the longitudinal direction of the strip, which are connected to each other at a predeterminable angle to one another in an articulated manner or at a predetermined angle to one another.
  • the first strip section is for adhesive bonding formed with the window or door frame and the second strip portion for gluing with the soffit.
  • the two strip sections can therefore be either rigidly connected to each other and then include a predetermined angle, for example, of 90 °.
  • the two strips are connected via a dense Gelenkausformung, in particular in the form of a film hinge, articulated and thus movable together.
  • At least one hose extending in the longitudinal direction of the strip is arranged on the side of the strip intended for the adhesive connection with the window or door frame and the reveal, and is coated with at least two strips of adhesive extending continuously in the longitudinal direction and spaced apart from one another. At least one of these strips is for gluing the hose to the strip and at least one other of these strips is for bonding the hose to the window or door frame and / or soffit.
  • said bonding according to the invention allows relative movements between window or door frame and soffit without peeling the bar from the window or door frame or the soffit and thus a leakage of the joint is to be feared.
  • the tube which is not fully coated with the adhesive, but with at least two spaced apart strips of adhesive, compensates for these movements by changing the shape.
  • Such an adhesive hose is in the not previously published German patent application DE 10 2004 059 522 described, whose disclosure content is fully included here, also for the purpose of incorporating features of these documents in claims of the present application.
  • this is likewise achieved by means of a strip in which, on the side of the strip intended for the adhesive connection with the window or door frame and the reveal, a first hose extending in the longitudinal direction of the strip and the second strip section at least partially covering the hose and a first one arranged in the longitudinal direction of the bar, at least diffusion-inhibiting and airtight trained and the first strip portion and the tube at least partially overlapping web material is arranged.
  • the tube in this case has at least two strips of adhesive extending continuously in the longitudinal direction and spaced from one another, at least one of these strips being designed for adhesive bonding of the tube to the strip and at least one other of these strips for adhesive bonding of the tube to the web material.
  • the web material has a corresponding strip of adhesive for bonding the hose with the web material.
  • the main thing is that the hose is glued to the web material.
  • the web material independently, has at least two continuous longitudinally spaced apart strips of adhesive, at least one of which strips is for bonding only the web material to the non-tubular strip portion and at least one other for adhesively bonding the web material to the window - Or door frame and the soffit is formed. It is also possible that instead of the other strip two spaced strips are provided, wherein the first is formed for adhesive bonding of the web material with the window or door frame and the second for adhesive bonding of the web material with the soffit.
  • the adhesive hose connected to the strip is preferably designed as a self-adhesive, airtight and at least diffusion-inhibiting hose.
  • adhesive is broad in the context of the present invention and also includes sealants or sealants which have adhesive or self-adhesive properties.
  • the strip according to the invention for covering and sealing joints is not limited to the scope of the joints occurring between window or door frame and soffit. However, this is a preferred field of application, because it has been found that with the strip according to the invention in a simple and cost-effective manner leaky window and door joints, especially in old buildings, can be rehabilitated.
  • the strip according to the invention is used to cover the one hand said joints of the still built, old windows or doors later and seal, or on the other hand cover said joints new, exchanged against the old windows or doors windows or doors and seal. Said replacement of the windows or doors is substantially without affecting the building fabric, i. especially without damaging the plaster.
  • the strip according to the invention must be attached. Plastering is no longer necessary.
  • the strip is suitable for covering and sealing all similarly formed joints, in particular those which are subjected to large relative movements.
  • a development of the invention accordingly provides that the adhesive for adhesive bonding of the hose with the window or door frame and / or the soffit or the web material is a self-adhesive. This allows easy handling of the strip with the window or door frame and the soffit. It has been shown that self-adhesive are suitable to connect the hose completely close to the window or door frame and the soffit.
