Definitions

  • the invention relates to a profile connection strip with a sealing device for sealing joints with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
  • a sealing device which has a carrier in the form of a flexible hose which is at least partially coated on the outside with adhesive and can be arranged and glued to the two materials to seal a joint. With a relative movement of these two materials, the hose can flexibly adapt to this movement. Due to its flexibility, however, the hose has no inherent stability.
  • a generic profile connection strip which has become known which has a profile body with an outer leg and a component fastening section movably connected to this via two connecting webs formed in particular via coextrusion for fastening the bar to a frame or rail component, in particular a door or window frame or a roller blind rail, via a Has adhesive surface.
  • the connecting webs made of a deformable plastic material are designed to be flexible and extend in a curved manner from the outer leg to the fastening section, so that they can be deformed in a rolling movement when the fastening section is horizontally displaced relative to the outer leg.
  • a plastering strip or profile strip for window frames or doors which has a base section with web sections for connection to a plaster layer, a frame fastening leg for connection to the window frame and a sealing lip for covering and sealing the joint formed between the window frame and base section.
  • the frame fastening leg is connected in particular movably to the base section via a convexly curved connection section.
  • a support body is formed as part of the frame mounting leg or it is e.g. B. a soft foam strip, which is connected to the frame attachment leg or the base section via adhesive layers. The support body holds the frame attachment leg in a defined position and thus facilitates the assembly of the profile strip.
  • the support body can z. B. solve from the frame mounting leg and allow this an adjustment movement.
  • the sealing lip can adapt to the relative movement by elastic deformation and continue to seal the joint, whereby it also continues to cover the connection section.
  • this plastering strip is that the frame attachment leg, the sealing lip and the support body together with the base section form a solid structural unit and the sealing device formed by the sealing lip is therefore specially designed for this plastering strip and therefore does not represent a universally applicable sealing device that can also be used for other plastering strips would be usable.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a profile connection strip with a sealing device of the type mentioned above, which has good assembly properties and ensures improved permanent sealing of a joint even with larger relative movements between the profile connection strip and the component in the installed position.
  • the sealing device should provide a stable installation position, at least during its installation or processing.
  • a component for connection to a sealing device is, for example, a profile strip or a part of a building or another structure.
  • a component can be, for example, a door frame, window frame, built-in furniture, roller shutter box, stairs, wash basin, shower cubicle, tile, sheet metal strip, board, beam, masonry, concrete wall, plaster, drywall or window sill.
  • a component can, however, also be a profile connection strip, such as, for example, the known reveal connection profiles or roof ventilation profiles or plaster end profiles.
  • profile strips can, for example, be embedded in a building surface, as is usual with layers of plaster and layers of filler. However, profile strips can also be arranged on a building surface, as is usual with renovations.

  • B. a surface of a wall and has a certain depth perpendicular to the surface and a certain width between two components, the width being constant for components arranged in parallel and with non-parallel surfaces of the two components can have different widths over their depth.
  • Joints can, for example, be arranged both vertically and horizontally on vertical parts of a building, with the drainage of moisture at horizontal joints usually being more difficult than at vertical joints. All these joints must be made permanently tight in accordance with the known regulations and requirements.
  • a design-related and / or weather-related relative movement can occur between the components. Depending on various factors, these relative movements can take place in the three spatial directions and have different values.
  • the relative movement can generate longitudinal movements and / or transverse movements and / or changes in the distance between the two components.
  • the sealing device solves the actual technical challenge, namely a permanent sealing of a joint with simultaneous dynamic relative movement.
  • the support device of the sealing device according to the invention has an elongated shape z. B. in the form of a band or a bar or even just a thin layer and is expediently formed from materials that allow that they can ensure the mutual positioning of the two components in the assembly position.

  • the assembly forces are smaller than the internal holding force, adhesive force or adhesive force on the support device. These internal forces are in turn smaller than the external holding force, adhesive force or adhesive force between the support device and the respective component. These external forces are in turn preferably smaller than the stretching or tensile forces that can be absorbed by the enveloping body during relative movements.
  • this delivery and assembly force is transmitted via a first external connection device or adhesive device and a second external connection device or adhesive device of the sealing device through the holding force that can be absorbed by the support device, without one of the external connection devices dissolves or a material of the enveloping body tears.
  • the sealing device behaves in a technically advantageous manner with regard to the force flow occurring during relative movements, so that the sealing device provides the desired seal in every sealing position.
  • Fastenings or connections or external connections are produced, for example, by means of adhesive devices. In principle, however, other types of tight fastenings or connections such as vulcanization or welding or clamping are also possible.
