NICHOLAS S. VEDDER AND FRANCIS RITCHIE, OF TROY, AND TOBIAS S. HEISTER, OF LANSINGBURG, NEW YORK, ASSIGNORS TO SAID VEDDER.
DESIGN FOR STOVES.
Specieation forining part of Design No. 10,953, (lated December 10, 1878; application filed November 15, 1878. [Term of patent 31% years] To alL who-m it may concem:
Be it known that We, NIOHOLAS S. VEDDER and FRANCIS RITCHIE, eaeh of the city of Troy, in the eonnty of Rensselaer and State of New York, and ToBIAs S. HEISTER, of the village of Lansingburg, in said County and State, have jointly uvented and prodneed a new and original ornamental Design for Stoves, of which the following is a speeifieation, reference being had to the aeoompanying ont, print, or en graving of a stove having our said new design.
One part of this invention is the design for the Vase D, eomposed of the tapering lower body portion, e, having thereon the ornainent e', the middle band-like body part, f, the eonvex npper part, g, having' the ornanient g' thereon, and the lato-like eap-pieceh,ofge1ieral angnlar form, with ornainented end pendants, h', and top ornuinent, h with orn ainental reeesses therein, all shaped and arranged substantially as represented in the aforesaid print.
Another part is the design for the npper seetion, E, eonsisting of the panels t', having the seroltornamented bordersj, and the frame-like inner panel-border, la, having erueiforin lower corner ornainents, k and oblong pointed or' nament 70 in the sides, and inelosing the panel l, having thereon the flora] ornament m, all shaped and arrtnged suhstantialiy as represented in the aforesaid engraving.
Another part is the design for the illumination-seetion G, oonsisting of the upper seginents, n, eaeh having fonr qnadrilateral illu- 1nination-apertures, 0, all formed with truneate eorners, and each surrounded by braeteate vine ornaments p, the polygonal projeeting rini-plate q, and the lower seginents, 1", eaeh having two qnadrilateral illumination apertures, s, With truneate eorners, and snrronnded by the braoteate vine orn aments p', all shaped and arranged together snbstantially as shown in the aforesaid eut.
Another part is the design for the end of the oVen-seetion H, eonsisting of the top rim, a, bottom rim, a', end plate, b, and door c, having the seroll-ornamented border d,.inner framelike ornainent, d', and central floral ornalnent, d all shaped and arranged together substantially as represented in the aforesaid en graving.
Another part is the design for the base portion I, eonsisting of theangnlar baseplate t, the scroll ornainented border 'a along the onrve edged rear part, a and the horizontallyeonvex and Vertieallyeoneeve parts u and u having, respeetively, the pan eLornament v and rini-ornainented apertnres o', all shaped and arranged substantially as shown in the aforosaid print.

2. The design for the upper section, E, eonsisting of the parts j, k k lu l, and m, as set forth.
3. The design for the illuminationseetion G, consisting of the parte n 0 p, q, 9* s p', as shown and deseribed.
4. The design for the end of the oven-seetion H, eonsisting of the parts a, 0/ b, o, d d' d, as shown and deseribed.
5. The design for the base-section I, eonsisting of the parte t, a, u* u u v, o', as shown and deseribed.
