DESIGN FOR HEATING-STOVES.
Specification forming part of Design No.9,684, dated December 26, i876: application filed November 28.1876. [Term of Patent 7 yeara] To all whom `it may concern:
Be it known that we, NICHOLAS S. VED- DER and FRANCIS RITcHrE, each of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, and ToBIAs S. HEISTER, of the village of Lansingburg, in said county and State, have jointly invented and produced a new and original ornamental Design for Heating-Stoves, of which the following is a specitication, reference being had to the accompanying out, print, or engraving of a stove having our said new design.
One part of this invention is the design for the cover A, consisting of the top surface a, having the ornamented rini b, the convex molding c, with the ornamentations d thereon, the tint rim surface e, the compound molding f, and the inclined border g, all shaped and arranged together as represented in the aforesaid cut.
Another part is the design for the top B, consisting of the inclined molding h, with the ornamentation i thereon, and the border-mold ing j, having on it the ornamentation k, all shaped and arranged together as represented in the aforesaid print. y
Another part is the design for the register and illumination frame C, consisting of the ornamented border l, the rectangular panel m, with the arch-top ornamental window-moldings, n, over the ornalnented register 0, with the scroll ornaments p below, and the cappiece p, with the lateral scroll ornaments p2, all shaped and disposed as represented in the aforesaid engraving.
Another part is the design for the doorframe D, consisting of the projecting part q, with rounded corners q. and border having the ornamentations r on the sides, and the top and bottom ornamentations s, with the central cap-piece sl and lateral scroll ornaments s, all shaped and arranged as shown in the aforesaid print.
Another part is the design for the door E, consisting of the compound central ornament ton the panel t', and the border ornamentation u, all shaped and arranged together as represented in the aforesaid cut, with or withont the engraved linear ornamentation o.
Another part is the design for the base F, consisting ofthe outer border w, with the or namentation w thereon, the dat surfacey, with the engraving y', and the inner ornamented band z, all shaped and arranged together as shown in the aforesaid engraving.
We do not herein claim the design for the urn, the border ornamentation u, nor the legs, nor the combination of the ornamentations .v and z, separated by a smooth snri'ace.
What we do claim as our invention is 1. The design for the cover A, consisting of the parts a, b, c, d, e, f, and g, as described.
2. The design for the top B, composed of the parts k, i, j, and k, shaped and arranged as set forth.
3. The design for the illumination and register frame C, consisting of the parts L, m, n, o, 19,111, alid p2, shaped and arranged as described.
4. The design for the door-frame D, con sisting ofthe parts q q r s sl s, as set forth.
5. The design for the door E, consisting of the compound ornament ton the panel t', and the ornamental border u, as described.
(i. The design for the base F, consisting of the parts w, x, y, y', and z, as set forth.
