DESIGN FOR COOKING-STOVES- Specification forming part of Design No. 8,769, dated November 2, 1875; applicstion filed October 20, 1875. [Term of Patent 1 years] To a whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, Gunnon G. WOLFE, NIonoLAs S. Vnnnnn, and FRANCIS RITCHIE, all of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselner and State of New York, have jointly invented and produced a new and original Dcsign for Cooking-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying photographic representatiun.
One part of this invention consists of the design for the compound panel ornament A for the oven-door, the same being composed of the extended base portion 1), with scrolllikc ends, the middle portion 0 having side scrolls d (I, the upper octagonal portion e and the lateral projections f I, all Slllt].)0(l,0ll18- mented, and combined substantially as represented in the aforesaid photograph, with or without the engraved vinelet ornamentations ghii.
Another part of this invention consists of the design for the panel ornament J for the I smaller doors or panels, the same being composed of the central projecting octagonal shield k, with concave edges and faces, and the lateral projecting parts i I, all shaped, ornamented, and arranged together, as particularly shown in the photograph, with or without the top and bottom intnglio ornaments m m.
What we claim as our invention is- 1. The design for the compound panel ornament A, composed of the parts 1:, c, d d, c, and ff, shaped and combined as herein described.
2. The design for the panel ornament J, composed of the parts It and l Z, all shaped and arranged as described.
