DESIGN FOR STOVE-PLATES.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom it may concern! I Be it known that we, NICHOLAS S. Vnnnnn and FRANCIS RITCHIE, both of the city of Troy, in the county of Itensselaer and State of New York, have jointly invented and produced certain new and origiual features in Designs for Stove-Plates, of which the following is a description, reference being had to the accompanying photograph, in which- Figure 1 represents a parlor heating-stove, which represents and shows all the distinguishing features of our new design.

Figures 2 and 3 are enlargel views of top plate an d door.

One new feature of our design is the ornamental open-work urn A, shown in the accompanying photograph.

Another part of our invention is the shape and ornamentation combined of and upon the top plate B, as shown.

Our new design also consists in the ornamental cylinder-plate or plates C, shown in accompanying photograph; also in the cornice D and ornamental plate 1*], surrounding the fire-chamber.

Another feature of our design is the ornamental doors and windows 1 F, 850., fully shown by phot0 graph.

Another new part of our design is the ornamented curred plate G, with cornice I, being carved and shaped substantially as shown by accompanying photograph.

Our invention further consists in the design and ornamentation of the circular plate H, as shown; also in the design and ornamentation of the ash-pit door J and base-plate K.

Our design also consists in the shape and ornamentation combined of and upon the bottom or hearthplate L, as shown by photograph.

Our invention also consists in the design for the leg N, substantially as shown by accompanying drawings.

\Vhat we claim as our invention and production, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

1. The design for the open-work urn A, as shown.

2. The design and ornamentation of the top plate B, as shown herein.

. 3. The design for the cylinder-plate C, as shown by photograph.

4. The form and ornamentation of the cornice D and plate E, as herein shown and described.

5. The design for the door or window F, as shown.

0'. The form and design of the curved plate G and cornice I, as described and shown by accompanying photograph.

7. The design for circular plate H, substantially as represented.

S. The design of the door J and base-plate K, as herein shown.

9. The form and design of the hearth-plate L, as shown.

10. The design and ornamentation of the log N, as shown by accompanying drawings.
