DESIGN FOR STOVE-PLATES.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, LUTHER W. HAnwoon, of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, have invented and produced certain new and original features in Designs for Stove-Plates, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photographs, in which- Figure 1 is a view of a stove, which embodies all the new features of my said design;

Figure 2 is a View of the bottom plate and a leg and Figure 3, a view of the top plate and cover of a stove having my said design.

Like parts are marked by the same letters in the different figures.

One new feature of luy invention is the design for the leg A, iig. 2, partly covered by the tinted and point-edged skirt b, and ankle-baud c, as represented in the aforesaid photographs.

Another new feature of my invention is the design for the bottom plate D, as distinguished by Vthe border molding e, ornament-ed inner molding f, and intervening oruamented molding g, all shaped and arranged together, as shown in and by the accompanying photographie representations.

Another new feature of my invention is the design for the top plate H, as distinguished by the ornamented moldings t, j, and lf, all shaped and arranged thereon, as shown in the aforesaid photographs.

Another new feature of my invention is the design for the cover L, as distinguished by the series of ornaments m n o, arranged upon moldings thereon, as

represented by the aforesaid photographs.

Another new feature of my invention is the particular form or configuration of tbe damper-chamber P, as distinguished by the curved top q, straight npright sides r a, and straight bottom s, with registeropenings t, as shown iu fig. i.

Another new feature of my invention is the form or configuration of the combination of the series of ornaments n, e, and w, with and upon the various parts of the damper-chamber l), as shown in iig. l.

Another new feature of my invention is the design for the door-frame X, as distinguished by the series of ornaments y and z, shaped and arranged together, as shown in fig. 1 of the photographs.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

1. The design for the leg A, as described and shown.

2. The design for the bottom plate D, as shown and described.

3. The design for the top plate H, as herein set forth.

4. The design for the cover L, as described and shown.

5. The particular form or configuration of the damper-chamber P, as specified and shown.

6. The form or configuration of the combination of the ornaments u 'v w with the damper-chamber, as shown.

7. The design for the door-frame X, as shown and described.
