DESIGN FOR A COOKING-STOVE.

Specieation forming part of Design No. 5,161, dated August 1, 1871.

To all whom 'it 'may concern:

Be it known that we, NICHOLAS S. VEDDER, ofthe eity of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, and TOBIAS S. HEISTER, of Lansingbnrg, in the county and State aforesaid, have jointly invented and produced a new Design for Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photographie representation of a cooking-stove having our said design One part of our invention consists of the ornamental surface C, composed of the four-sided ribbed parts l and the four-sided ornamented portions e, all shaped and arranged together, so as to appear substantially as represented in the accompanying photograph. Another part of our invention consists of the design for the front plate F, as distinguished by the curved rearwardly-inclined upper part g and the inwardly receding curved lateral portions h h with the curved corners i i, all shaped and arranged so as to present the appearance represented in the aforesaid photograph. Another part of our invention is the design for the leg J, as distinguished by the ornamental surface c, border 1.', and leaf l, all shaped and arranged substantially as shown in the aforesaid photograph. What we claim as our invention is- 1. The ornamental surface C, composed as herein described.

2. The design for the front plate F, as herein specified.

3. The design for the leg` J, as described.
