NICHOLAS S. VEDDER, OF TROY, AND TOBIAS S. HEISTER, OF LANSINGBURG, NEW YORK, ASSIGNORS TO NICHOLAS S. VEDDER.
DESIGN FOR A COOKING-STOVE.
Specification forming part of Design No. 5,160, dated August 1, 1871.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, NICHOLAS S. VEDDER, of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, and TOBIAS S. HEISTER, of Lansingburg, in said county and State, have jointly invented and produced a new Design for Stoves and Ranges, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accom.- panying photographic representation of a cooking-stove having our said design.
One part of our invention consists of the compound ornament J, shaped and arranged upon a panel of a door or plate of a stove or range so as to appear substantially as shown in' the acA companying photograph. Another part of our invention consists of the compound ornament K, shaped and arranged on a door or plate of a stove or range so as to present substantially the appearance represented in the aforesaid photo graph. Another part of our invention consists of the ornament L, shaped and arranged upon a plate or plates, or foot or feet of a stove or range,
so as to appear substantially as shown in the photograph aforesaid. Another part of our invention consists of the ornament M,shaped and arranged upon the corners of a molding or moldings, o, on a door or doors, or plate or plates of a stove or range, substantially as represented in the aforesaid photograph.
What we claim as our invention is- 1. The panel ornament J, shaped and arranged as herein described.
2. The panel ornament K, shaped and arranged as herein set forth.
3. The ornament L, shaped and arranged as herein described.
4. The ornament M, shaped Yand arranged on the corners of moldings, as herein set forth.
