DESIGN FOR A FIRE-PLACE STOVE.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

We, J oHN RoBBINs Rosa and EDWARD (Banner, of the city and county of Philadelphia, in the State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new Design for Fire-place Stoves, of which the following is a specilication.

Nature of the Invention.

Figure 1 represents the front of' the stove, rim, and feeder.

Figure 2 represents the external frame.

Figure 3 represents the base-plate.

Figure 4 represents a section of' the stove-body or eoinbustioncharnber walls.

Figure 5 represents the intermediate or second rim.

Figure (i represents the ash-pit doors. Figure 7 represents the feeder.

General Description.

rlhe external frame, forming the first part of the lnvention, is shown at a, in figs. 1 and 2.

'.lhe base-plate, constituting thc second part, is shown at b, in figs. 1 and 3.

The body of the stove or the walls of the main eombustionchamber are made up of a number of see tions, shown at c o c in iig. 1. One of these sections 1s represented on a larger scale in fig. 4. This constitutes the third part of our invention.

The forni and ornamentation of the top riln, constituting the fourth part of our invention, are clearly shown at d in fig. 1.

rPhe intermediate rim, which forms the fifth part, is shown at e in fig. 1, and on a larger scale in fig. 5.

j, in iig. 1, represents the center ornament, the design of which constitutes the sirth part of the invention.

The ash-pit doors, constituting the seventh part, are shown at g in fig. 1, partially hidden by the fender h. They are clearly shown on a larger scale in fig. 6.

The fender is shown in perspective at h in fig. 1, and in front elevation in fig. 7. This forms the eighth part of' our invent-ion.

The 'ornamental water-vases, constituting the ninth part of the invention, are represented at t' t' infig. .1.
