Design No. 4,360, dated September 20, 1870.
DESIGN FOR STOVB-PLATES.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that we, NICHOLAS S. VEDDER, of Troy, and TOBIAS S. HEISTER, of Lansingburg, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, have jointly invented and produced certain new and original Features in Designs for Stove-Plates, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photographie representation of a cooking-stove having our new design.
One new feature of our said design is the compound ornament L, having the various parts thereof all shaped and arranged together, and disposed upon and east with a plate or plates of a stove, as shown in the aforesaid photograph.
Another new feature of our said design is the combination of the aforesaid compound ornament L and an ornamental border-molding, M, all shaped and arranged upon and cast with a door or doors, or a plate or plates of a stove, as shown in and by the aforesaid photographie representation.
Another feature of our said designis the compound ornament L1, having the various parts thereof all shaped and arranged together, and disposed upon and cast with a door or plate of a stove, as shown in the aforesaid photograph.
Another part ot' our design is the ornamental foot L2, as shown in and by the said photographie representation.
What we claim as our invention and production, and desire to secure by Letters Patent. is-
1. The compound ornament L, cast on and forming part of a plate of a stove, as herein shown and described.
2. The combination of the compound ornament L and ornamental border-molding M, arranged together and cast upon a stove-plate, as herein described and shown. Y
3. The compound ornament L, east on and forining part of a door or plate of a stove, as shown.
4. The design for the foot L2, as shown.
