DESIGN FOR STOVE-PLATES.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that we, NICHOLAS S. Vnnnnn and FRANCIS RrroHIn, both of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, have jointly invented and produced certain new and original features in Designs for Stove-Plates, of' which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photograph, in which- Figure l represents a parlor cook-stove, which einhodies all the distinguishing features of our new design.
One new feature of our design is the compound ornament A, having its various parts all shaped and arranged together upon and east with a door or plate ot' a stove, so as to appear substantially as shown in the aforesaid photograph.
Another feature of our invention is the ornamental design of the skeleton cover B, as shown in the photograph.
Another new part of our design is the shape and ornamentation combined, of and upon the lower top plate C, as shown.
Another new feature of our design is the arrangenient, upon the upright lower section D, of the ornainents c, and moldings f y, as shown in the photograph.
Another new part of our invention is lthe forni and configuration of the raised and inclined perforated ash-pit cover II, as shown.
Another part of our invention is the design for the foot I, as shown in the photograph.
That we claim as our invention and production, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
1. The compound central ornament A, as herein described and shown.
2. -'ilhe design for the open-work cover B, as shown.
3. The design for the lower top plate C, as shown.
4. The ornamentation of the lower upright section D by the figures and moldings o j' g, as shown and described.
5. The form and configuration of the raised and inclined ash-pit cover H, as shown.
6. The design for the foot I, as shown.
