DESIGN FOR FRANKLIN STOVE.

Specification forming part of Design No. 10,343, dated December 11, 1877 application filed November 16, 1877.

[Tenn of Patent 31} years] To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that we, NICHOLAS S. VEDDER, of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, and Tomas S. Hars- TER, of the village of Lansingburg, in said county and State, have jointly invented and produced a new and original Design for Fran klin Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying cut, print, or engraving.

One part of this invention is the design for the top piece A, consisting of the central panel 12, side scrolls c, reversely-inclined part d, with the end caps e, and ornament f, all shaped and arranged together substantially as shown in the aforesaid print.

Another part is the design for the upper front, consisting of the pilaster side parts I, having the compound capital ornaments m and the intermediate angular ornamented hood portion a, all shaped and arranged substantially as shown in the aforesaid cut.

Another part is the design for the end plates 0, consisting of the lower oblong panel 0 and the upper panel having the series of ornamental apertures q, all shaped and arranged and ornamented substantially as represented in the aforesaid print.

Another part is the design for the lower front, consisting of the upper and lower series of oval ornamentations t, the series of upright ornaments a between the quadrilateral apertures, and the bottom ornamentation u, all

shaped and arranged as represented in the accompanying out.

. Another part is the design for the feet, consisting of the concavely-niolded and scroll ornamented upper parts as, united at right angles with a truncated corner, and the lower angular molded parts 3 and z, all shaped and arranged together as shown in the aforesaid out.

What we claim as our invention is- 1. The design for the top piece A, consist ing of the parts I), c, d, e, and f, all shaped and arranged as set forth.

2. The design for the upper front, consisting of the parts l, m, and n, shaped and arranged together as set forth.

3. The design for the end plates 0, consisting of the parts 0, p, and q, shaped and arranged together as described.

4. The design for the lower front, consisting of the parts t, u, and u, all shaped and arranged as set forth.

5. The design for the feet, consisting of the ornamented parts as, y, and z, shaped and arranged as shown and described.
