DESIGN FOR COOKING-STOVES.

Specification forming part of Design N o. 9,685, dated December 26, 1876 application tiled November 28, 1876. [Term of Patent 7 years.]

To all whom Yit may concern:

Be it known that we, NICHOLAS S. VED- DEE and FRANCIS RITOHIE, each of the city of Troy, in the county ot' Rensselaer and State of' New York, and ToBIAs S. HEIs'rER, ot' the village ot' Lansingburg, in said county. and State, have jointly invented and produced a new and original ornamental Design for Cooking-Stoves, of which the following is a specific-ation, reference being had to the accompanying cut, print, or engraving of a cookingstove having our said new design.

One part of this invention is the design for the compound ornament B for the panel of the oven-door, consisting ot' the center-piece g, having vthe particular outline shown, and the engraved linear ornamentation It thereon, and surrounded by the molding i, and having at the sides the angular standardsj, with lateral angle-hoops lc and top and bottom caps l, and at the bottom the scroll-loops m, and at the top the two-way inclined part u, with the row of semi-'globular ornaments o and angleloop p thereon, all shaped and arranged together as shown in the aforesaid engraving.

Another part is the design for the ovendoor C, consisting ofthe outer ornamental border A, the inner compound ornament B, and the intermediate molding q, all shaped and arranged substantially as represented in the aforesaid cut, with or without the linear engraved ornamentations 1' and s, or either one thereof.

Another part is the design for the panel D at the end ofthe fire-box, consisting of the outer ornamental border A, the inner compound ornament t, and the intermediate molding u, all shaped and arranged as represented in the aforesaid print. Another part is the design for the front firedoor E, consisting of the outer ornamental border A, the inner illuminated panel c, and the intervening molding w, all shaped and arranged as shown in the laforesaid cut. f

We do not herein claim the design for the legs.

What we claim as our invention isy l. The design for the compound panel ornament B, consisting of the parts g, h, ,j, la, l, m, n, o, and p, all shaped and arranged together as set forth.

' 2. The design for the oven-door C, consisting of the ornamental border A, compound lornament B, and molding q, all shaped and arranged together as described.

3. The design for the panel D, consisting of the ornamental border A, compound central ornament t, and the intermediate molding u, all shaped and arranged together as shown and described. 4. The design for the front lire-door E, consisting of the ornamental border A, inner illuminating-panel c, and intervening molding w, Iall lshaped and arranged together as shown and described.
