One part of our invention consists of the design for the compound ornament, A, for the oven-door panel, which has its lower part extended forward of its upper portion; the said ornament A being composed of a cenL tral oval shield, having thereon rows of ornamented lozenge-shaped figures, surrounded by a beaded border, and disposed upon the face of a projecting ornamented back piece, having an ornamented gable or triangular top, and, at the bottom, a central and two lateral ornamented pendants, with a compound scroll-work ornament extending forward from the front onev of the said pendants, and all the parts shaped, ornamented, and arranged together substantially as shown in the aforesaid engraving. Another part of our invention consists ofthe design for the oven-door, as distinguished by the compound ornament A, composed as above specified, and arranged on the panel of the door, in combination with the compound border-molding B, composed of the outer convex molding, c, inner row of Oval beads e, and intervening concave molding, d, all shaped and disposed so as to appear substantially as represented in the accompanying cut. Another part of our invention consists of the design for the end door of the lire-box, as distinguished by the row of oval beads around the plain rectangular panel, having on its middle the compound ornament E, composed of the circular or oval center-piece, having thereon rows of quadrangular forms surrounded by a row of beads, with ornamented roof-like or angular extensions at the top and bottom, and hub-like projections at the sides, and the whole shaped and disposed so as to appear substantially as shown in the aforesaid cut. Another part consists of the de sign for the front door, G, as composed of the flat oblong panel h, having the straight bottom, parallel upright ends, and curved or arched top, and surrounded by the compound border z', consisting of the inner row of oval beads and the two united Outer curved moldings, all shaped and disposed as shown in the aforesaid cut. the design for the upper front plate, as distinguished by the two oblong rectangular projecting panels J J, arranged upright on the end portions of the said front plate, and each having a plain iiat tablet, k, surrounded by an ornamental border, l, composed of the inner row of beads and the outer curved molding, all shaped and disposed as shown in the aforesaid engraving. Another part consists of the design for the leg M, as composed of the central oval ornament, having rows of lozenge-shaped iigures thereon, surrounded by two rows of bead-like ornaments, andar ranged upon the upper or knee portion of the leg, with ornamental forms disposed along and upon the sides and the lower portion of the leg, and al1 shaped substantially as represented in the aforesaid cut.
What we claim as our joint invention is l. The design for the compound ornament y around the rectangular panel, in combination with the compound ornament F, composed and arranged on the panel as herein set forth.
