VEDDER., ot' the city of Troy, in the countbv of Roussel laer and State ot New York, and TOBIAS S. l1EIs'1ER,of Lansinghurg, in said county and State, have jointlv invented and produced a new and original ornamental Design for Parlor-Stoves, ol' which the following;- is a specitication, reference. being.;` had to the accompanying woodcut, print', or engraving ota stove which embodies our lsaid new design.
One part of our invention is the design for the side piiasters A of the lower front sec tion, the same consisting ot' the central ornamental shieldAlilie ornament I; on a plain su1t'ace,c, surrounded by the raised ornamental border d, with the ornaments c at the upper and lower ends, and terminated at. top and bottom h v the ornamentsf, all shaped and arranged so as to appear substantiallbv as represented in the aforesaid cut.
Another part of our invention is the design for the illuminating front doors, consisting' of the outer twist-molding, g with the raised ornamental rectangular cornerpieces h, the plain surface i', tbe row of oval projections j, the bead-moldings k, and the illuminating windows ,having semicircnlar tops, all shaped and arranged together so as to appear substantially as shown in the aforesaid engraving.
Another part of our invention is the design for the middle part of the upper front plate, consisting of the hasemolding m, the archmolding n, the end ornaments o, the ornamental railings p, and the middle ornament, composed ot' the ornamental center-piece r, the lateral scrolls s and obtuseangled cappiece t, all shaped and arranged together so as to appear substantiallv as represent-ed in the aforesaid print.
Another part ot' our invention is lthe design for tbe subcylindrical ends ot' the lower section, consisting of the compound central ornament U, shaped and arranged on the plain surface V,' as shown, and the ornamental border, composed ot' the diamond shaped side ornaments w, and the cordate scroll-orna- :nents '.r at the corners. Iall formed and dis' posed substantiall as represented in theatoresaid eut.
Another part ot` onr invention is the design l'or the suli-ctvlimlrical ends ot' the upper section, consisting,- ot' Athe inner panel-surface Y, orn-.iinented as shown, and surrounded by the bead z, plain surface a, twist-molding g, with raised, four-sided corners, plain surl'aee n, and outer moldingr r, having an oblitpielyscalloped inner edging. all shaped and conr bined substantially as represented in the ac comp-anfing; print.
Another part ot'A oar invention is the design for the cover, consisting' ot' the ornamented top the outer ornamented moldings C, and intervening' open-work portion l), coinposed ot straight hars, combined so as to forni a central row of hexagonal apertures, y, and forming, with the outer and inner parts U B, two border rows of tlvesided apertures y and y2, each having two right angles and three obtuse angles, and the whole appearing;r snbstantialb' as shown in the aforesaid reprcsentation.

That We claim as our invention is 1. The design for the pilasters A, consisting of the parts b, c, d, c, and f, shaped and arranged together as described.
2. The design t'or the front doors, consisting ot' the parts g, h., ,j, L, and l, shaped and arranged together as set forth.
3. The design for the middle portion of the upper front plate, consistingr of the parts 1n, a, o, p, r, s, and t, all shaped and arranged as described.
4. The design for the ends ot' the lower section, consistin` ot' the compound panel ornament U, surface V, and ornamental border composed of the parts 'w and ir, and Iall shaped and arranged together as set forth.
5. The design for the ends ot' the upper section, consisting ot' the ornamented surface Y, surrounded by the parts z, a, q, u, and o, all formed, ornaincnted, and arranged together as described.
