DESIGN FOR COQKING-STOVE.

Specification forming part of Design No. 8,836, dated December 14, 1875 application tiled December 3, M75. [Term of Patent 3 years] To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, NICHOLAS S. VEDDER, of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original ornamental Design for Cooking-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying cut, print, or engraving of a cooking-stove which embodies my said new design.

One part of this invention is the design for the inner portion of the door-panels, consisting of the compound ornament A, composed ofthe threelobed front part b, roll-bar c, ground d, scrolls e, and cap f, all shaped and combined so as to appear as shown, and arranged upon the central part of and in combination with the ornamental surface G, forlned of oblique rows of lozenge-shaped parts, each having a central projection, and the whole pre sentin g substantially the same appearance as is represented in the aforesaid out.

Another part of my invention is the design for the outer portion of the doors or panels, composed of the outer rectangular retro-sinuous border ornamentation H, the inner twistornamented molding I, and the intervening plain surface J, all shaped and arranged together substantially as shown in the aforesaid print.

Another part of my invention is the design for the doors or panels, composed of the outer rectangular retro-sinuous border ornamentation H and the central Ornamental surface G, formed as above specified, irrespective of the form and ornamentation of the intervening and other parts.

Another part of my invention consists of the design for the upper front section, composed of the oblong rectangular ornamental panel surfaces L L, formed as shown, and immediatelyv surrounded by the spiral-ornament molding M and the intervening door K, having the rectangular retro-sinuous border orna. mentation H, all so as to appear substantially as shown inthe accompanying woodcut.

What I claim as my invention is 1. The design for the inner portion of the door-panels, composed of the compound central ornament A and the immediately sur rounding ornamental surface G, all formed and arranged substantially as set forth.

2. The design for the outer portion of thc doors or panels, composed of the retro-sinuous ornamental border H, the inner ornamental molding I, and the intervening plain surface J, as set forth.

3. The panel design, composed ofthe outer ornamental border H and the central ornamental body surface G, as specified.

4. The design for the upper front section, consisting of the lateral ornamental surfaces L L, surrounded by the ornamental molding M and the intermediate projecting door l, with the border ornamentation II thereon, as shown.
