NICHOLAS S. VEDDER, OF TROY, AND TOBIAS S. HEISTER, OF LANSINGBURG, NEW YORK, ASSIGNORS TO SAID VEDDER.
DESIGN FOR COOKlNG-STOVES.
Specification forming part of Design No. 10,932, dated November 26, 1878; application filed November 15, lETH. [Term of patent 31} years] To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, NIoHoLAs S.VEDDER, of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, and TOBIAS S. HEISTER, of the village of Lansingburg, in said county and State, have jointly invented and produced a new and original ornamental Design for Cooking-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying print, out, or engraving of a cooking'stove having our said new design.
One part of this invention is the design for the oven-door, consisting of the border ornamentation composed of the projecting externally angular corner portions, at, having the compound three-cleft and scroll-vine ornaments b c, the intervening double-fillet portions (1 and e, inclosing the spaces f and g, and having angular ends h, with intervening ornaments 'i, all shaped, combined, and arranged together as represented in the aforesaid out.
Another part is the design for the door or panel J, consisting of the outer convex molding, is, inner panel, I, and intermediate compound border, composed of the projecting annular corner portions m, with the ornaments n thereon, the double or open filletbars 0 and p, with the points q and the ornaments 1', all
shaped and combined as shown in the aforesaid engravingl 3 Another part'is the design for the front door S, consisting of the plain oblong rectangular projecting lower portion, t, the round-top oblong illumination-apertures u in the upper portion, with the series of intervening and overarching ornamentat-ions v w and .r, all shaped and arranged together as shown in the aforesaid print.
\Vhat we claim as our invention is- 1. The design for the oven-door, consisting of the parts a, b c, d e, f, g, h, and i, all shaped and arranged together as described.
2. The design for the door or panel J, composed of the parts k, l, m, n, 0, p, q, and 'r, all shaped and arranged as set forth.
3. The design for the front door S, consisting of the parts t, u, v 10, and a", all shaped and arranged as shown and described.
