DESIGN FOR COOKlNG-STOVES.

Specification forming part of Design No. 10,931, dated November 26, 1878; application filed November 15, 1878.

[Term of patent 31}- years] To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that we, NICHOLAS S. VED- DER, of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, and T0- BIAS S. HEISTER, of the village of Lansingburg, in said county and State, have jointly invented a new and original ornamental Design for Cooking-Stoves, of which the followin g is a specification, reference being had by letters of reference to the accompanying cut, print, or engraving of a cooking-stove, which embodies our said new design.

One part of this invention is the design for the side doors and panels, consisting of the outer molding, a, having the series of angle ornamentations I) along its inner edge, the convex molding c, the ornamental panel-border composed, essentially, of the flat parts (I, having the projecting angular corners a, with scroll-vine ornaments f and the pointed junction ends g, with pinnate ornaments h, and the panel-surface i, with or without the floral ornament j or Io thereon, all shaped and arranged substantially as shown in the aforesaid print.

Another part of this invention is the design for the front door, L, consisting of the outer series of angular ornamentations b, the upper surface, m, having the round-top apertures n and the surrounding line, scroll, and pinnate ornaments o, and the lower projecting surface 12, having the round-top openings q and intervening line and pinnate ornamentations r, all shaped and arranged as represented in the aforesaid engraving.

Another part is the design for the legs, consisting of the upper bent concave molding s, the plane bent inclined surface t, centrallybent tapering portion u, having the compound line and scroll ornaments v,.straight upper ed ge parts w, and concave lower-edge portions x, and the cylindro-segmental foot y, having the ornament z thereon, all shaped and arranged together as represented in the aforesaid cut.

WVhat we claim as our invention is-' 1. The design for the side doors and panels, consisting of the parts a b, 0, d e f g h, and i, all shaped and arranged as shown and described.

2. The design for the front door, L, consisting of the parts b, m n 0, andp q 'r, all shaped and arranged as described.

3. The design for the legs, composed of the parts 8, t, u o w m, and y 2, all shaped and arranged as set forth.
