DESIGN FOR A HEATING-STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 13,606, dated February 13, 1883.
To all whom tt may concern Be it known that we, ll. CLAY liasconand FRANCIS RITCHIE, citizens of the United Statcs, residing in the city of Troy, in the county of Rcnsselaer and State of New York, havejointly invented and produced a new and original Design for Heating-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying print,cnt-, or en [0 graving of a stove having said new design.
The design for the vase A consists of the body it, having the side ornament, a, stem 1;, and scroll-form lateral handles 0, each having the middle block ornament, a, standing top ornament, c and pendent bottom ornaments,
c and all shaped and arranged together, substantially as shown in the accompanying print.
The design for the top section, B, consists of the cap-plate C and lower top plate, D, all
shaped, ornamented, proportioned, and arranged together so as to present substantially the same appearance as is represented in the accompanying engraving.
The design for the cap-plate 0 consists of 2 the lower fillet, d, having thereon the series of upwardly-pointing ornaments d, and the npper convexly and concavely curved portion, 0, having the series of ornaments c, all shaped and arranged together substantially as shown 0 in the accompanying cut.

g, and the intermediate convexly-curved portion, It, having the series of downwardly-pointing ornaments i along the upper edge, the series of upwardly-pointing ornaments j along the lower edge, and the middle series of ornaments, 7:, connected with the ornamentsj and alternating with the ornaments i, and all 0 shaped and arranged together substantially as representedin tho accompanyingengraving.
The design for the door-frame plate E consists of the ornamental outline form of its outer edge, I, the ornament m, and lateral 5 scroll ornaments n at the top, and the ornaments 0 at the bottom,allshaped and arranged substantially as shown in the aforesaid print. The design for the side plate, 1, consists of the upper series of alternately different down- 5 wardly-pointing ornamentsp, connected at top by ornaments q, the lower series of connected ornaments, r, and the end ornament, s, all shaped and arranged together substantially as shown in theaforesaid print.
The design for the front door, J, consists of the oblong rectangular panel t, having the series of oblong upright apertures t and row of upward ly-pointed ornaments t, in connection with the outer border portion, u, having the corner ornaments, u, and middle, top, and bottom ornaments, u all shaped and arranged together as shown in the aforesaid cut.
The design for the legs consists of the body portion 0, convex horizontally and curved con- 7c cavely from top to bottom, and having the middle sprig ornament, to, and the downwardly curved and pointed border ornament a, with top scrolls, y, all shaped and arranged together substantially as represented in the accompanying engraving.
