Fig. l is an elevation of the rear side of the same. Fig. 3 is a front elevation of the stove. Fig. 4 is a rear elevation thereof, and Fig. is a plan of the hearth.
This invention has relation to a certain new and original design for stoves; and it consists in the novel form and configuration of parts, all as hereinafter described, and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
Referring to the drawings, it will be ob served that the general form of the body A, as viewed in side and elevation and in plan, is rectangular, with a depending curtain flange B at the base and an overhanging top plate.
The rear portion C of the body, wheu viewed in plan, forms an even continuation of the body, but when viewed in side elevation is seen to form an offset from the base, its bottom line or wall having an upward curve. At the opposite or front end of the body is a horizontal hearth projection D, having a generally flat surface with slightlybeveled lat" oral and front edges.
The hot oven 3, arranged on the top of the body A, as shown, presents a general T shape or outline, having the upright portion E and rectangular upper body portion E.
The curtain flange B extends entirely around the base and has a leg extension B at each corner angle. This flange is ornamented upon its upper narrow band I) by a raised vine and flower figure, the vine running alternately above and below the flowers. The main body of the curtain flange B is ornamented on each side and end of the stove by a central ornamental shield or figure and a running vine with leaves and flowers, as shown.
The front side of the stove above the curtain flanges has the rectangular-space or panel h below the small door (i ornamented by the raised design shown. Above this panel is a raised bar f, and the fluted design j" above said bar and below the small door. This ornamented with a ligu re rep resen tingadaisy.
The four ends of the door have ornamental flower figures H The large oven-doorI has a raised central figure .l similar to that on the small (lUUl,CXCOPb its central ornamentation, which here consislsof the scalloped fig ures J, the four ends of the door-panel having the flower figu res I". The part 0 on this side of the stove is ornamented by the central figure K, surrounded at the four corners of the panel by the ornamental figures h.
The front of the heating box or oven E, on topof the body A, is ornamented on its lower upright portion E by a central oval wreath 0, within which the ornamental letters J & E S Co are arranged as a monogram. To each side of this central figure are the ornamental scroll and flower figures e, as shown. The sliding doors E of the upper part E are ornamented by the flower and running-vine figures shown. The upper projection E above the body of the heating-box is ornamented with the scroll and flower figures shown.
The rear side of the body A is ornamented by a central design L, formed of a series of raised hexagonal blocks, and the panels or spaces M to each side of the same are ornamented by a central flower figure m, a shelllike figure m to each side thereof, an inclosing larger flower figure m and at the upper and lower ends of the panels the smaller flower and leaf figures m. The rearsurface of the extension 0 bears an ornamental design corresponding to that on the front face of said extension. The back of the upper heating-box E is ornamented with the central vertical lines resembling a eolumn, whilo to each side thereof is shown a vine figure bearing leaves and flowers.
At the front of the stove the hearth D has upon its upper surface the ornamental design shown in Fig. 5, while the door N above the vine, leaf, and flower figures R, the ends of hearth hears a design similar to that on the the panel being marked by the bars S. small door G. The hinge end of each of the \Vhat I claim is three doors G, I, and N are ornamented by The design forastove substantiallyashere- 5 the vertical pillar design shown. in shown and described.
