UNITED STATES To all whom it may concerm.
Be it known that we, GURDEN G. WCLEE, NICHOLAS SVEDDER, and FRANCIS RITCIIIE, all of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, have jointly invented and produced a new and original ornamental Design for Cooking Stoves, of which thevfollowing is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photograph, in which- Figure 1 is a side view, and Fig. 2 a view of one side and the front end of a cookingstove, which embodies the distinguishing features of our said design-like parts being markedl by like letters in both figures.
One part of our invention consists of the word Superb, composed of letters shaped and arranged together and upon aplate or panel of a stove so as to present substantially the same ornamental appearance as is represented at A A in Fig'. l. Another part consists of the compound panel ornament B B, shaped and arranged on a plate of the stove so as to appear substantially as shown in Fig. 1, with or Without the ornamental Word Superb thereon. Another part consists of the ornamental initial letter S, shaped and arranged on aplate of a stoveV so as to appear essentially as represented in the aforesaid photograph at p. Another part consists ofthe panel ornament, C-shaped, and arranged so as to appear substantially as shown in the photograph, with or without the ornamental letter S thereon. Another part consists of the ornament D, shaped and arranged on a plate or panel of a stove so as to appear substantially as represented in Fig. 1. Another part consists of the ornamental border E, shaped and arranged upon a door, plate or panel of a stove so as to appear substantia ly as shown in the photogaph aforesaid. Another part consists of the-ornamental cornice-molding F, shaped and yarranged upon and along the upper'portion of the plate or plates of a. stove substantially as represented in the photograph. the side plates and of the ends of thev lower front plate, as distinguished by the upright, straight, lower, and upper parts I and J, and intermediate curved portion K, substantially as shown in the aforesaid photograph, with or Without the moldings thereon. Another part consists of the combination of the ornamental border E and panel ornament B B, substantially as represented on the large oven-door L, with or without the Word Superb thereon. Another part consists of the combination of the ornamental border E and panel ornament C, substantially as shown on the doors M N, with or without the letter SJ Another part consists of the combination of the ornamental border E and panel ornament D, as represented on the panel O in the photograph.
What we claim as our invention is- 1. The word Superb, composed of ornamental letters, shaped and arranged together and upon a plate or panel of a stove, as herein described.
2. The ornament B B, as herein described.
3. The initial letter S, shaped and arranged on a plate or panel of a stove, as herein described.
4. The ornament C, as herein described.
5. rlhe ornament D, as herein described.
6. The ornamental border E, as described.
7. The cornice'ornament F, as described.
8. The design for the ends of the side and front plate, as distinguished by the upright lower and upper parts I and J, and intervening curved portion K, as herein described.
9. The combination of the ornament B B and ornamental border E, as described.
10. The combination of the ornament C and the border E, as described. f
11. The combination of the ornament D and the border ornamentation E, as described.
