DESlGN FOR A PARLOR-STOVE.
Specification forming part of Design No. 6,310, dated December 17, 1872.
To all whom it may concern:
Beit known that we, NICHOLAS SVEDDER, of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, and Tonms S. HEIS- TER, of Lansingburg in said county and State, have jointly invented and produced a new and original Design for Parlor-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying wood 'cut or engraving of a stove which embodies our said new design.
One part of our invention consists of the design for the cover O, as distinguished by the ornamented moldings p and q, shapedand combined'so as to appear as represented in the said wood-cnt. Another p art consists of the design for the top plate R,as distinguished by the circular or oval part s, curved portion T, and lateral parts U with the ornamental figures V and moldings 2W thereon, all shaped and arranged so as to appear substantially as shown in the. aforesaid engraving. Another part consists of the design for thenpper sloping end plate`X, as distinguished by the single imitation dormer-window Y, shaped and ornamented so as to appear as represented in the engraving. Another part consists of the design for the upper sloping front plate Z, as distinguished by the central and smaller lateralimitation dormer-windows aand b b, shaped and arranged on the plate so as to appear as shown in the wood-eut. vAnother part consists of the compound ornament G, shaped and arranged on a plate or panel of a stove, substantially as represented in the aforesaid engraving, with or without the surrounding bead d. Another part consists of the combination of the panel ornament C, and ornamented border e, substantially as shown in the wood-cut, with or without an intermediate bead, d. Another part consists of the design for the end tire-door F, as distinguished by the panel-ornament C and ornamental beading g, all shaped and arranged thereon substantially as shown in the wood-cnt. Another part consists of the desi gn for the end plate H, as distinguished by the ornamental moldings i along the arched-top door-frame j, and the ornament k and beadings l above the door-frame, as represented in the engraving. Another part consists of the design for the upper and lower front plates M and N, as distinguished by the panels o and p', shaped and ornamented so as to appear as represented in the cnt. Another part consists of the design for the band-platerQ, as distin-v gnished by the ornamentations r a shaped and arranged thereon as shown in t e woodcut.
