DESIGN FOR PARLOR-STOVE.
Specification forming part of Design No. 10,345, dated December 11, 1877; application filed November 16, 1877.
[Term of Patent 3% years] To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that We, NIcHoLAs S. VEDDER and FRANCIS RITCHIE, each of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer and State of New York, and Tomas S. HEISTER, of the village of Lansingburg, in said county and State, have jointly invented and produced a new and original Design for Parlor-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying cut, print, or engraving.
One part of this invention is the design for the upper front plate and end door, consisting essentially of the border D, of rectangular outline form, and having thereon the series of three-cleft ornaments h along the sides, and the rosettesi at the corners, in combination with the panel ornament E, composed of the central rosette k, having four radiating stems, with three-cleft ornaments l thereon, and arranged on the plain surface m, surrounded by the compound molding 91, having projecting and re-entering angles and end scrolls 0, all shaped and arranged together so as to appear as represented in the aforesaid out.
Another part is the design for the divisionplate F, consisting of its general oval shape horizontally, with the depressed portion 11 therein, and having the series of three-cleft ornaments q on the flat surface 1' and the inclined part 1", all shaped and arranged as represented in the aforesaid print.
Another part is the design for the lower front door, consisting of the rectangular border D, having thereon the series of ornaments it along the sides, and the rosettes 'i in the corners, in combination with the inner double-panel portion, of rectangular form, and having the central rosette and terminal trifid ornaments 'v between the round top apertures 12 within the ornamental border v, and the rectangular apertures w between the central rectangular and terminal trifid ornaments w within the fillet border to, all shaped and arranged together as represented in the afore said engraving.
We do not herein claim the design for the vase, nor the design for the legs.
What we claim as our invention is-- l. The design for the upper front plate and end door, consisting of the rectangular border D, having thereon the ornaments h i, in combination with the rectangular panel, having thereon the central ornament E, composed of the parts It lm n 0, all shaped and arranged as shown and described.
2. The design for the division-plate F, consisting of the parts p q r r, all shaped and arranged as shown and described.
3. The design for the lower front door, consisting of the rectangular border D, having the ornament-s h i thereon, and the two inner panels, composed of the parts 11 e v and w w 10 respectively, all shaped and arranged to gether as shown and described.
