DESIGN FOR STOVE-PLATES.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of txe same.
To all whom it may concern.'
Be it known that we,NIcHoLAs S. VEDDER, of Troy, and TOBIAS S. HEISTER, of Lausingburg, in the county of Rensselaerand State of New York, have jointly invented and produced certain new and original features in Designs for Stove-Plates, of which the sent the appearance represented in and by the aforesaid photograph.
Another feature of our said design is the combination of the aforesaid compound ornament I and ornamental border-'moldiug J, all shaped and arranged and cast upon a door or doors, or a plate or plates of a stove, with or without an intervening molding, lf, so as to appear as shown in and by the aforesaid photographic representation.
What we claim as our invention and production, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
1. The compound ornament I, having its various parts -shaped and arranged together, and cast upon a plate or plates of a stove, as herein shown and described.
2. The combination of the compound central ornament I and ornament-al border-molding J all shaped and arranged upon and cast with a door or doors or a plate or plates of a stove, as herein described and shown.
