TO ALL WH OM IT MAY CONCERN:

Beit known that we, DANIEL S. CoLBY and ROBERT Sconan, of Troy, in the county ofV Rensselaer, and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design `for Parlor or Heating-Stove Plates, of which the following is a full and exact description, reference being had to the annexed drawings and letters of reference marked thereon, making a part of this specification, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective View of' the bottom plate, and

Figure 2, a perspective view of a door-plate with the door, all of the same stove.

Our said design is composed and arranged of parts. as follows, to wit: The bottom plate A (fig. 1) has, forming its outer edge, the quarter-round moulduga, and, next, the half-round bead b, which form the edge or border of said plate. c and d are mouldings, forming the sides. and back-base parts of the ash-pit, and thc ornamental moulding e forms the top part of said pit. B is a register-plate, closing the front part of said ash-pit, and has the half-round monldingf for its base edge. C (lig. 2) is a door-plate, having a scroll ornament, g, on its bottom part, and the pointsj arranged on tbe inclined sides of the doorway. D is a door, hinged to said door-plate, and has a scroll ornament, h, arranged at its top part, and the ornamental moulding i forming the outer edge of said door, the panel of said door being divided by a million-moulding into two windows or illuminating spaces, as shown in tbc drawing.
