Be it known that I, NICHOLAS S. VEDDER, of the 'city of '.lfroy1 in the county of Rensselaer, and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for Stove-Plates, of which the following is a full and exact description,- reference being had to the accompanying photographs, in which- Figure 1 represents aside plate` and Figure 2 a dool on a larger scale of a stove having my said design.

The design for the side plato consists of the horizontal and vertical rope-like mouldings k with rosettes l at their crossings, and intervening vertically-ribbed panels m, all shaped and arranged within a border moulding n, so as to appear as represented in iig. 1; and the door is ornamented by a series of alternate vertical ropelike mouldings o and plane strips p, with cross-straps q q, all shaped and arranged as represented in iig. 2.

What I claim as my invention or production, and desire to secure by Lettera Patent, is- The design for stove-plates herein set forth and shown.
