TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, NICHOLAS S. VEDDER, of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer, and State of New York, have invented or produced a new'ornamental Design for Plates of a Stove, of which the following is a full and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying photographs, in which Figure 1 represents the base portion,

Figure 2 the body, and

Figure 3 the top plate of a stove having my said design. In this invention the design of the bottom plate A consists essentially of the ornamental hearth-moulding e, the scroll f, and ornamental moulding g, all shaped and arranged as shown in fig. 1. The design of the upper base-plate B consists of the concentric rows of ornaments h ij, all shaped and arranged on the circular terraced surface of that plate, as shown in fig. 1. The design of the body-plates G consists of the precise outline configuration and shape of the grooves of the surface of those plates, as represented in fig. 2. And the design of the top plate D consists of the three circular concentric series of ornamental mouldings Iclm, all shaped and arranged on that plate, as shown in fig. 3.

What I claim as my invention and production, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The ornamental design of the plates A, B, C, and D of a stove, as herein specified and shown by the accompanying photographs.
