T0 ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: A
Beit known that we, DANIEL S. Conor and ROBERT Sooner., of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer, and State of New York, have originated and produced a new and useful Design or Patterns for Parlor or Heating Stove Top and Bottom Plates, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the annexed drawings, and letters of reference marked thereon, making apart of this specification, in which- Figure 1 is a view of the top plate, and h Figure 2 is a view of the bottom plate of the aforesaid stove.
Our said design is composed and made as follows, to wit: The aforesaid top plate is, in its bottom outline, of an oval shape, and having a surrounding moulding, a. Arranged within said moulding, and separated from it by a smooth surface, is an ornamental moulding, b. Disposed or arranged upon this border or rim, composed of the aforesaid mouldings, is the ornamental open-work top centreplate A, which is of an oval, conical, or convex form, all in manner as fully shown in the annexed drawings.
The design for the aforesaid bottom plate is as f ollows: Its front part is extended forward somewhat to form a hearth. At each end of the hearth is the ornament c. arranged in combination with the ornamental moulding d, which moulding extends around said bottom plate, and forms the border or base moulding of the same. Disposed upon the face of the aforesaid bottom plate, and in an oval form, is the dentated or notched moulding e, all in manner as fully shown in iig. 2 of the annexed drawing. i
What we claim as our invention or production, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The ornamental configuration and design for plates of a parlor or heating stove, the same as herein described and shown in the annexed drawings.
