DESIGN FOR THE BASE AND TOP OF A STOVE.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that we, NIcnoLAs S. Vennen and FRANCIS RITOHIE, both of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer, and State of New York, have jointly invented or produced a new and original De sigu for a Top and Base of a Stove, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying photographs, in which- Figure 1 represents the top, and

Figure 2 the base of a stove having our said design.

Our new design for the ring-like, outside oval plate A of the top consists of the series of ornamented mouldings b c d, all shaped and arranged together so as to appear as represented in fig. 1.

The design for the swinging or removable oval centre plate E of the top consists of the surrounding mouldings aud series of ornaments f g h, urn-seat i, radial plait-s j, and scroll-vines k k, all shaped and arranged so as to appear as shown in fig. 1; and

The design for the base plate L consists of the inside continuons ornamented moulding fm. and the ornamental border mouldings n o p, and scrolls q q, all shaped and arranged so as to present an appearance like that represented in fig. 2.

What we claim as our invention or production, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The design for the plates A and E of the top, and plate L of the base of a stove, as herein shown and described.
