Be it known that I, LUTHER lV. HARWOOD, of the city of Troy, in the county of Rensselaer, and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for Plates of a, Stove, of which the following is a. sucient description, reference being had to the accompanying photographs, iu which- Figure 1 is a view of the top plate.

Figure 3 a view of the whole of a stove, in which my said design is embodied- Like parts being marked by the same letters in the various figures. l i

In this invention or production the design of the top plate A consists of the concentric series of ornaments e,f, and g, all shaped and arranged together on the varying surface of that plate, so as to present the appearance represented in fig. 1. The design ofthe top plate B of the lower portion of the stove consist-s of the rows of ornaments h, arranged on the inclined angular part i, between the projecting partj and upright circular part lc, so as to appear as represented by figs. 2 and 3. And the design of the door C and side plate. D of the' lower portion of the stove consists of the particular grooved panels ll on the plate C, and the grooved panel m, on the plate D, all shaped and arranged so as to present the appearance represented by figs. 2 and 3.
