DESIGN FOR HEATING-STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,202, dated July 11, 1899.
Application filed April 6, 1898. Serial No. 676,712. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ARTHUR K. BEGKWITH, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Dowagiac, in the county of Cass and 5 State of Michigan, have invented a certain new and useful Design for Heating-Stoves, of which the following is a specification.
' My invention relates to a design for a heating-stove.

As shown in the drawing, the leading fea- 5 ture of my design is more particularly the configuration and ornamentation of the various portions of the stove, though the stove diifers somewhat in its general outline from other stoves. The stove is provided with a o circular base having a smooth polished rim at the bottom, with upwardly and inwardly curved ornamental portions above. The base is supported on legs provided with an ornamental scroll to harmonize with the base.
5 Above the base portion is an ornamental band or collar of diagonal lattice-like serollwork. This curves gradually toward the body. An ornamental ring is just above this band. The main body of the stove rises in cylindrical 0 form above this and has ornamental scrolls The invention is illustrated in the accomsupported on a lattice-work formation which corresponds with the lattice-work band below.
The doors are in an ornamented frame and are ornamented, as appears in the drawing, the upper door being provided with a broad name-plate. Above the body portion of the stove is an enlarged band of lattice-like work bearing scroll ornaments. On this rests the stove-top proper, which has a smooth band at its bottom and is provided with upwardly and inwardly curved bars carrying scroll-like work toward the center. On this is supported the top of the stove, which is finished with a \Vitnesses:
