DESIGN FOR A STOVE.

Be it known that we, GEORGE M. COOKE and EMIL SEIDEL, citizens of the United States, residing at Milwaukee, in the county 5 of Milwaukee and State of Wisconsin, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof. As shown in the drawing, which is a perspective view of a stove showing our new design, the leading or material features of the design consist of a top section d, of semispherical or dome shape, terminating in a 15 plain circular rim which curves outwardly and downwardly and overhangs the body of the stove; a body-section h, of substantially cylindrical form,having in front a door-frame c and a feed-door d, extending approximately zo from Ithe bottom to the top of said body-section; a tapering fire-pot section e, contracted toward the bottom; an outwardly-projecting and downwardly-curved ledge or skirting f, overhangng the top of the lire-pot section e;

z 5 a base-section g,curving outwardly and downwardly from the bottom of the fire-pot section into an approximately-square form in horizontal section and having an ash-pit door h in the front side, and a skirting c', curving 3o outwardly and downwardly from the basesection g and merging into legsj The doorframe o has on each side margin a series of scroll or shell like ornaments in low relief, and between each side margin and the door d a band of scroll and leaf like ornaments. Across the bottom of the door-frame is a row of rounded leaf-like or boss-shaped figures. The door d has a central ornamental shield 71;, which is surrounded by scroll and leaf like ornaments, and in the upper part of the door is a circular damper Z. The skirtingf below the body-section b has scroll and leaf like surface ornamentation and leaf or shell like projections m, which join and overhang a plain circular foot-rail n. The base-section g and the skirting 7l, together with the ash-pit door 7i and the legs j, have scroll and leaf like Having described our invention, what we claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
