DESIGN FOR A HEATING-STOVE.

Beit known that we, EDWARD J. KING and THOMAS R. KENNEDY, citizens of the United States, residing in the city of Rochester, county of Monroe, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design fora Heating-Stove; and we do lereby declare the following to be a full, clear,

and exact description of the same, in connection with the accom panying drawing, forminsr a part thereof.

Our design consists of the shape and coniguration of the stove shown and the ornamentation applied thereto.

In the drawing we have shown a perspective view of a heating-stove embodying our design, in which- The lower base-section (indicated by A) is supported upon the legs ct, the upper portions of which are provided with the ornamentation shown, and between the legs the base A is provided with the scroll and leaf ornamentation Z9. The upper base-section B rounds inwardly toward the top, and at its corners is the conventional ornamentation O. Upon the front side of the base-section is the ashpit door D, having the Maltese cross d in its center, upon either side of which are the scroll and leaf ornaments d.

Rising above the base-section B is the firepot E, and supported by the latter is the circular stove-body E, around the lower end of which is a depending annular flange G, provided wit-l1` scroll ornamentation, as shown, and having upon its sides curved rails g.

H indicates the lower front door, having the ornatnented damper h arranged at its cen ter and provided upon its sides and bottom and at its upper corner with the scrolls and leavesj.

I indicates the upper front door, having the mica openings and ornamented about its edges with leaves and scrolls k. Ornamental rounded panels M, having the scrollworks m, are arranged upon opposite sides of the front doors H and I, as shown.

Sur-mounting the body E is the top section N, having the plain band n, provided at the sides and front wit-h the ornamental portions n', and above this are the ornamental zones O and P. At the eXtreme top of the stove is the urn-like ornament Q.

The ornamentation of the stove as a whole is consistent, and the various parts harmonizing produce a pleasing eect.

We claim- The design fora heating-stove substantially as herein shown'and described.
