THOMAS R. KENNEDY, OF ROCHESTER, NEW YORK, ASSIGNOR TO THE CO-OPERATIVE FOUNDRY COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A HEATING-STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,007, dated July 24, 1900.
Application filed June 20, 1900. Serial No. 20,953. Term of patent 7 years- To all whom, it may concern.-
Be it known that I, THOMAS R. KENNEDY, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city of Rochester, county of Monroe, and
5 ate of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Heating-Stove; and I do herebydeclare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, in connection with the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
In the drawing I have shown a perspective view of a stove embodying my design, the feature of which is the configuration and ornamentation.
A indicates the lower base-section, having the legs B and provided with the surface ornamentation extending down upon said legs.
C indicates the upper base-section,provided with the leaf ornamentation, and D indicates the front rail.
The body portion of the stove is generally rectangular, having the scroll and leaf ornamentation in low relief upon the sides E, and at the front of the body is the door F, provided with the scroll ornaments at opposite sides extending toward the center and the rails or bars forming the mica-openings. Just above the door is the outwardly-rounded panel G,having the rails or bars forming micaopenings. Over the panel G is the concave or shell-shaped recessed panel or port-ion H, ornamented with the scrolls and heading, as shown, and extending from the rear of the panel G to the plane of the stove-front J,which latter is provided with the scroll ornamentation and is rounded at the edges.
The top of the stove is formed of the sections K and L, formed of open scrollwork and rounded at the edges, the former being the larger and beneath the latter, and M indicates an ornament of the general shape of an urn upon the section L, as shown.
I claim The design for a heating-stove as herein shown and described.
