DESIGN FOR A HEATING-STOVE.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, J AMES DWYER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Detroit, county of Wayne, State of Michigan, have in vented a certain new and useful Design for Base-Heatin g Stoves; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it pertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this specification.

The drawing represents in perspective a stove illustrating my design.

My design consists, essentially, of the following features: the, drum or body A, made plain at its sides and back, but upon its face ornamented with embossed scrolls, and with a plated name-plate A extending across the front between the doors; a revertible fluesection B, ornamented on its upright edges with laterally-projecting tongues 1). Below the sections A and B is an ash-pit section 0, separated from the latter by a projecting flange C. The ash-pitsection on its front I and sides is provided with foot-rails, each rail ornamented with embossed ornamentation and supported by brackets, as shown at D. Each bracket is in the form of a scroll, as shown. Below the ash-pit section is a basesection E, made to stand out and ornamented with tinting. Beneath the latter is a leg-see tion with plain feet, the ornamentation being of scroll-work and rosettes. lhere is an outstanding annular top F, surmounted by an embossed dome G and an ornamental figure H. The foot-rails, foot-section, and name plate may be nickel-plated. The name-plate has a field of shell-shaped flutes, which are bounded by scrolls which constitute a part of the plate. The scroll-ornamented front of the section A is bounded by a band a of stars or rosettes.

What I claim is 1. The design for stoves, consisting of the section A, embossed with scrolls upon its front, section 0, provided with foot-rails and brackets, as shown, base'section E, with fluted ornamentation, and footsection ornamented with scrolls and rosettes, the whole surmounted by an embossed dome and figure, substantially as shown.

2. In the design for a stove, the section A, plain at its sides and back, but ornamented upon its face with embossed scrolls, substantially as shown.

3. In the design for a stove, the section G, ornamented with scrolls, the front and sides of said section having ornamental foot-rails, said foot-rails supported by brackets projecting above and below the same, substantially as shown and described.

4. In the design for a stove, the broad outstanding basc-section E, ornamented by scallops, as shown, in connection with the footsection made flush therewith, and ornamented scroll-work and rosettes, substantially as shown.

5. In the design for a stove, the front panel of the section A, said panel ornamented with scroll work, as shown, said scroll work bounded by a band of stars or rosettes a, substantially as shown and described.
