DESIGN FOR PARLOR COOKlNG-STOVES.

Specification forming part of Design No. 9.6022` dated October 24, 1876; application tiled September 26, 1876. [Term of Patent 7 yeara] To all whom it may concern:

Beit known that I, FRANK A. MAGEE, of Chelsea, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for aParlor Cooking- Stove, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying engraving, making part of this specification.

In the engraving A represents the base of the stove, vwhich is supported upon ornamental legs b, and is provided with a straight hearth and curved sides, an ornamental Grecian border, o, extending around it near the edge. B is the lower portion of the stove, which'contains the oven and ash-pit, the door C of the latter having'an oval panel, d, with a Grecian border, outside of which, at the corners of the door, are small Grecian ornaments e. Thefoven is provided on each side of the stove with a curved door, D, having an oval panel, j', embellished with a Grecian border, and containing a central device or figure, g, in bass-relief. Outside the panel f are Grecian corner ornaments h. The portion i, iu which isAplaced the draft-slide, curves outward and downward to the top of the ash-pit door. The upper portionE of the stove, which contains the dre-pot, is of the same general form as the body B, and is provided in front with an ornamental door,1c, having mica panels and a. Grecian border. Above the doorvk is a small narrow door, l. At one side of the portion E is a curved door, G, provided with an oval Grecian bordered panel, m, and corner ornaments n, and at the opposite side of the portion E is a panel of similar design, which forms an imitation door. Each of the four corners of the stove are ornamented with fluted columns p q. The top H of the stove is of the form shown, being embellished with ornamental open-work, and is surmonnted by a an urn, I, made in the form ot' an inverted frustnm of a cone, and provided with straight ornamental handles r. The. front and rear of this urn are eneh ornameuted with a panel, s, containing a figure in bass-relief.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The design for a parlor cooking-stove, composed essentially of the base A, portions B E, and top H, with their panels and ornaments, substantially as herein shown and described.
