Be it known that I, HERBERT W. BEATTIE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Quincy, in the county of Norfolk and State of lllassachusettsflmve invented and prod need a newand original Design for Stoves or Ranges, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, said drawing show ing in perspective a stove embodying my design.

As shown in my drawing, the leading feature of the design is the shape or con fign ration of the stove and the ornamentation thereon.

The base A of the stove is provided at the corners with the legs B, and its upper rounded surface is ornamented with the scroll and leaf designs near the center of the front and above the legs. Just above the base is the beaded border 0, and above this a zone or band D.

E indicates the oven-door,havingthe beaded scroll and leaf ornamentation near the corners and the beaded border F, and at the center is a panel G, having the beaded scroll and leaf ornamentation, as shown.

II indicates the reservoirpanel, having the beaded border 7t and the scroll ornamentation J at the central portion.

K indicates the ornamental oven-shelf beneath the oven-door.

I indicates the front ash-pit panel, provided with the leaf and scroll ornamentation, and M the fire-box door above the panel, having the beaded scroll and leaf ornamentation thereon and provided with the beaded border.

The edge of the top of the stove is provided With the rounded polished rail N.

At the front end of the stove is the hearth 0, having the band 0 at the edge, and above it the ornamental ash-pit door 0 the ornamental panel O and the top fire-box door 0 ornamented as shown.

At the rear of the stove-top is the plate or rail P, provided with the beaded scroll and leaf ornamentation shown, and also with the brackets Q.

I claim- The design for a stove substantially as herein shown and described.
