DESIGN FOR A HEATER.

To all whom, it may concern.-

Be it known that I, JOSEPH LI'JON GOBEILLE, a citizen of the United States of America, and a resident of Cleveland, in the county of Guyahoga and State of Ohio, have invented a certain new and original Design for a Heater, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

The drawing is a perspective view of a heater, showing my new design.

As shown in the drawing, the leading features of my design relate particularly to the front of the heater; and it consistsin the novel form and ornamentation of the several parts thereof, as follows: The base a, which forms the ash-pit of the heater, is of rectangular shape, and its sides are provided with vertical ribs 7), corresponding with the vertical lines o of the sectional heater-body above it. The rectangularly-shaped ash-pit front d has a central rise 6 from its top edge, on which is mounted a clinker-door f, and is provided with a rectangular bulging cleaning-door g, which carries, a smaller rectangular draft-door h. A beaded edge 2' borders the ash-pit front all around, and its surface, together with the surface of the doors hung upon it, is ornamented with scrollwork j, as shown. The

main front 70 of the heater, extending upward from the ash-pit front 02, joins the latter on each side with an outward curve I, then rises past the fire-pot portion of the heater with a gradual outward curve, blending into the widened rectangular upper or combustionchamber portion at of the front, the top edge n of which is ornamentally curved and rounded, as shown. The central fire-door 0 is framed by a bead p on the front and is of bulging form, with an ornamental handle '1' 0 and a hemispherical centerpiece q, provided with a diametral name or number plate 8. Directly over the fire-door is a pair of rectangular doors t t, hinged near the side edges of the widened front on and framed by a head the edges and inward a greater or less distance therefrom, as indicated.

What I claim is- The design for a heater substantially as shown and described.
