DESIGN FOR A WATER-HEATER CASE OR SHELL.
$PEGIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,006, dated July 24, 1900.
Application filed January 13, 1900. Serial No. 1,386- Term of patent '7 years.
To (6 whom, it may concern:
Be it known that 1, JAMES GRAY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Allegheny, n the county of Allegheny and State of Pennlvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a W'ater-Heater Case or Shell, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The drawing is a perspective view of a water-heater case or shell, showing my design.
The leading or material feature of my design is the configuration of the case or shell and the ornamentation thereon.
The base A of the case or shell is provided with the scalloped beaded ornamentation, extending down upon the legs, as shown, and at the top with a band B of corrugations.
The body 0 of the case or shell is substantially oblong, and the ends describe an arc of a circle, being provided at the lower portion with the perforations K, the center panel with the wreath L, and leaf ornamentation at the sides E, extending upward to the corrugated band. At or near the top of the central panel is the ornamental scroll O, beneath which is the scroll P, and leaf ornamentation at the sides, extending down below the small rectangular center panel N. At the sides of the body are the long rounded panels or doors D, ornamented by the stork F and shrub, as shown,
G indicates the top section, having the band H at its lower edge and rounded and ornamented, as shown.
I indicates the top lid or section, ornamented, as shown, and surmounted by the collar J for flue connections.
I claim- The design for a water-heater case or shell substantially as herein shown and described.
