FRANZ STOIKETJ, OF MERIDEN, CONNECTICUT, ASSIGNOR TO THE MERIDEN BRONZE COMPANY, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A BASE FOR LAMPS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,609, dated August 20, 1895.
Application filed July 22,1895. Serial No 556,827- Term of patent 3% years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANZ YOKEL, of Meriden, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for a Base for Lamps, (Case F;) and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawing constitutes part of this specification, and represents a perspective View of a base for lamps embodying my design.
This invention relates to a design for a base for lamps, and it consists in the configuration and ornamentation as shown in the accompanying drawing.
The base is substantially rectangular in shape, consisting of four legs terminating in upwardly-turned scrolls A. Above the scrolls are grotesque masks B, surmounting an outwardly-curvedmedallion 0. Between the legs are lattice scrolls and floriated ornamentations D, which terminate in prominentpoints E, extending above a beaded ring F, all as shown in the accompanying illustration.
I claim The design for a base for lamps as herein described and shown in the accompanying illustration.
